i fell in love with lauderdale great place to live. i was there for 2 years until 2010 finishing school at a.i. man i miss it so much im back in ny and as much as i love nyc.. lauderdal is just so fun. the beach, downtown las olas, always something going on.. work is slow but during the fall through winter i make a killing behind the bars.. ughhh i cant wait to get back down there man lol.

Next August couldn't come soon enough. Once I graduate & finish school next summer, I'm outta Kansas City & head for Ft. Lauderdale. I was there for a week 5/7-5/13 & fell in love. I had already been wanting to move there prior to visiting & couldn't believe that I would one day be calling it home (given my plans go accordingly). Sitting at the airport to return home, I experienced the worst case of depression. I ♥ FT. LAUDERDALE!

I bought a condo in 2008 in Victoria Park (FLL) that I rent out and only because Chicago's winters are SHIT and getting SHITTIER and LONGER - I Refuse to stay in this SHIT PLACE in the Winter when I am old! taking off the shoes when you get home - total pain in the ass! In 6 days I am going down to visit - CANNOT WAIT!! LOVE THE BEACH!!! And for those who complain about the humidity - who cares - everyplace is air conditioned so STFU!

I went there for drug counseling and the weather was nice. The nights were cool because it was Febuary but besides that it was a comfortable place to live. Lots of stuff to do and a beautiful beach. I am from Ohio and it's a hell of a lot colder here. Ft. Lauderdale had a lot of large grocery stores and pharmacies.

The enviroment isn't something that I would want to live in but a vacation there for a couple of weeks is great.

I lived in Florida and I thought I hated it.

However...I moved to Toronto for a change and now:

stupid snow, cloudy days, stupid winter jacket and taking off your shoes because of the stupid wood floor, traffic is way worse, my car looks like shit all the time full of ice, no beach, I'm sorry canadians you got a real cool city in Toronto but it's just not for me! Nice for vacationing though...

In summer Toronto is where I'd like to be, then again I can always visit, also it was in southern Ontario where I experienced fall foliage and snow for the first time, and I have to admit that it was a beautiful experience, it's a big city with big city nightlife, things to do regardless of the weather, a truly multicultural place...everyone should visit Toronto and Niagara Falls at least once.

But Now I'm back in Florida!

Well, my father and my mother had moved in to the USA in the 80's (new york). and in the 90's they moved to FL.

My father was the guy who ran the constructions and stuff like that. But age hit him and he couldn't take it anymore. He found a deal here in brasil : /
