How awsome indeed. Ran the Upper Gauley a few years ago and it made lasting memories for all that went. You start at daylight in stunningly cold churning water that wakes you up and keeps your undivided attention all day. A wonderful day. Please have previous whitewater experience before trying this. But do try it.
