  • Fifty years from now, we can tell our grandkids that we saw Barry run the football.

  • viva!!!!!

  • Changing direction in mid-air. He was the greatest !

  • 0:54 wait doesn't that defy newtons laws???

  • Unbelieveable!! What moves!!

  • Comment removed

  • Reggie Bush has never rushed for 1000 yards in 1 season in the nfl keyword NFL this ain't USC dumbass

  • guys i been watching these comments for a while, and i gotta back pac on this one. hes schoolin you guys, i used to thing barry was good, but hes pullin out stats and good arguments left and right, i gotta say, reggie "the goat" bush is definitely better than sanders. man, sanders SUCKS once you think about it, thx for the insight pac

  • @MnM4516 he definitely didn't suck he was an extremely talented back, but was the victim of unfortunate circumstances it's hard to compare him to bush though both played in a different era of football.

  • @sonlife145 Bush is more comparable to eric metcalf. He can not hold barrys jock.

  • reggie bussh is ALOT better, at least he didnt quit like a little bitch

  • @chargerification WTF!! where is the prof, damm its no even close how meny yards to Barry he has my goodness reggie was the man @ usc but in the pros he's not close the Barry"

  • 1. Barry Sanders 2. Jim Brown 3. Walter Payton 4. Red Grange 5. Oj Simpson and tied for 5th would be Ollie Matson.

  • @whitescars77; Wow, you have Red Grange over Gale Sayers! Gale Sayers could have played in any erra! I have Eric Dickerson over Matson.

  • @whitescars77 1.barry sanders or jim brown depending on how you look at it. 2. who ever wasn't number one.

    3. Bo jackson not injuring his hip. 4. sweetness. 5. earl cambpell. 6. emmit smith.

  • You'd have to be an ignorant idiot under 19 years old with zero knowledge of football history to even put Reggie bush in the same sentence as Barry Sanders LOL. I put only Walter payton ahead of Sanders cuz like sanders, most of his career Payton played behind a terrible O- line, and he still set the rushing record. Also, he was obviously more of a "complete" back. Still, it is tough not to have Sanders as my #1.

  • Reggie Bush couldn't carry Barry Sanders jock strap!!

How could you even think it. Reggie still has to grow a pair!!

  • I am the biggest Walter Payton fan possible watching him while growing up in Chicago. This pains me to say...but Barry Sanders was God. It is not even close. There has been nobody close to this guy before or after. The only other game changing running back of this era was Bo Jackson...and he got hurt early in his career or he would have broke everyone's records. Barry had 11 guys at the line on every play. Their QB;s were absolute garbage.

  • @ajk3131 i think of barry sanders and bo jackson as 2 completely diferent backs. your could run a sweep to the left side and a linebacker could stuff bo. bo is going to run all the way to the oposite side of the field, break 3-4 tackles and out run the rest. barry in the situation would fake the guy out and probably bounce inside.

  • Barry's good but Jim Brows better (my opinion)

  • he would've beat the record but he retired too early...he only needed about 1500 more yards to beat it and if he would've played longer he would beat the record and have lots more!

  • bush couldent be barry even if barry planted the seed in reggies momma!!!!! bush is just another washed up college star.. welcome to the big leagues!!! and fyi god dont like ugly KIM may not have been better before you but she was down for yo ass and think about it everybody that has dropped a good woman look at them reggie bush and miles austin!!!! I WOULD SAY THEY ARE DONE!!

  • Too bad he didn't have an offense around him like what Thurman Thomas had at Buffalo or like what Emmitt Smith had in Dallas.

  • Why can't people justlet the videos speak for themselves? Enough with all of the stupid music, just let the action speak for itself.

  • @MrMwid To be honest, I'd probably join in on the argument, except I can't understand what half of the illiterate fuckers on here are even trying to type. Some YouTube comments just make me lose faith in humanity.

  • Highlights are always a fun thing to watch, but why is it that everybody needs to add music and cut away here, there and everywhere else. Just let the highlights speak for themselves and keep the announcers as the commentory. Basically just let it be, you only make it worse

  • Look idiots heres the top 10. Jim Brown, Barry Sanders, G.Sawyers, O.J. Simpson yes O.J. like him or not, Thurman Thomas, Emmit Smith, Eric Dickerson, Walter Payton, L.T. Toney Dorsett. And some real old timmers like Marion Motley, and Bruno Nagurski. Ok so I made it a top 12 fuck it throw Marcus Allen in there to.

  • It is really hard to leave Bo Jackson off this list. I think I would take out Dorsett. I like the OJ pick. Sure he was a killer, but he was a great running back. His line sucked as bad as Barry and Walters.

  • BUSH compared with BARRY ?!

    are you fuckin' kiddin' me?!

the only RB could be compare to Barry is L.T.

  • @boyeks Marshall Faulk?

  • @gangstaboi299 huh ???

  • what are those shoes at 0:01? I want to buy a pair

  • 1:07 did you see that? Barry sanders had no O-line at all, he did EVERYTHING himself, he made his team the LIONS playoff candidates. Barry had to run for his life every single play, and he did that every season averaging about 1100 yards a season. your little Reggie Bush aint nothing compared to Barry

  • what is this song

  • I live in New Orleans, and Im here to tell you that Reggie Bush doesnt hold a candle to Barry the man Sanders. No damn way. Bush is average at best, Barry was a God among men. Please, never put those two those two in the same comparison.

    Quick sidenote, GO GAMECOCKS!!!

  • Most explosive running back of all time.

  • Career: 5.0 yards per carry, NFL records 9 times 1,300 yds...7 times 1,400 yds...5 times 1,500 yds...25 games rushing for 150 yds...when everybody in the building knew he was getting the ball and the O-line couldn't block their sisters. He's the only back that could cause a defensive breakdown in coverage at the line of scrimmage!

  • Amazing RB, probably the best RB there ever was. He retired after 9 years and was very close to Emmitt Smiths record for all time career purpose yards. And there was a very close margin to it. Truly a beast RB.

  • I'm a broncos fan too, and gotta say Barry was the best. I've been watching football since 1986, alot of good RB's have come and gone but no one I've seen could do what Barry did. The early John Madden's football added the spin move to the game because of Barry, ha ha.

  • Barry Sanders is the greatest running back in NFL history and this comes froma Broncos fan

  • ya barry's the man, there's no denying it.

  • Barry sanders was not good he averaged 2.3 yards per carry and had close to no gains over 5 yards trust me he is terrible and if you disagree answer this: how many super bowls has he won? OVERATED

  • @pacgangsta2 you're a dumbass. Really, how can you even dress yourself in the morning? He played for the lions. He had absolutely no help. If you compare him to Emmit Smith who had one of the best O-lines of all-time, Barry was literally all alone on that field.

  • @1danyol1 wow ur dumb.......

  • @pacgangsta2 lmfao keep telling yourself what ever makes you happy...

  • @1danyol1 it does make me happy cuz its true barry sucked while he had the best o line of all time reggie bush lights it up i will sick you in the kisser if u dont think so

  • @pacgangsta2 The best line? Umm you need to do some research. The offensive line sucked balls for Barry Sanders his whole career. Thats why he did all the cutbacks. Every play it seemed a defensive player was in the back field trying to tackle him 1 second after the ball was snapped. Help me out with what the fck you are talking about.

  • @BronxCubans i guess your thinking about futball because anyone who watches the nfl knows this was a legendary line he just was SO slow. he randomly did cutbacks to be cool cuz he sucked, dumb european. trust me i always play as him in madden 05, he SUCKS...

  • @pacgangsta2 hahaha! your ignorance amazes me. barry's o-line was garbage. and you're calling him slow?? watch this video again, he blows by everyone and he left players like john lynch and derrick brooks with broken ankles. he did cutbacks because he had incredible vision and amazing reflexes. barry sanders is one of the all time greatest running backs. period.

  • @koolaidjohnson5 ur dumb reggie bush is the GOAT but at least both are better than mega mind

  • @pacgangsta2 im sorry but i believe the goat is rice. the raiders invented the nick name for rice.

  • @idontnoapassword HAHAHAHAHAHA RICE???? I HOPE YOUR KIDDING HE SUCKED THE TERM WAS CREATED FOR BUSH BECAUSE HE IS THE GREATEST ATHLETE OF ALL TIME BUT THE TERM GOAT WAS ORIGINATED FOR HIM BECAUSE OF HIS OBSESSION WITH GOATS

  • @pacgangsta2 greatest athlete of all times is bo jackson. goat is jerry rice. the term goat wasn not originated because of his obsession with goats and i hope your kidding me. whats with all capps?

  • @idontnoapassword TRUST ME I'M RIGHT AND MY CAPS ARE TO REPRESENT MY PASSION WITH THIS SUBJECT HE IS THE GREATEST ATHLETE, PLAYER OF ALL TIME AND HE KNOWS THE GAME SO WELL IF HE WANTED TO HE COULD BE THE GREATEST COACH OF ALL TIME AND THE GOAT WAS ORIGINATED FROM HIS LOVE OF GOATS THERE WAS A WHOLE 30 MINUTE SEGMENT ABOUT IT ON SPORT CENTER

  • @pacgangsta2 YOUR A FUCKING RETARD. haha hey ya totally your a idiot "oooohhh im reggie bush i get laid out by a cornerback. not even a safety but a cornerback!!""ooh i cant play a full season of football either". ahh im a lil bitch like the guy in all caps who has no clue what the game football is about.

  • @idontnoapassword but just tell me how many superbowls did sanders win??? none he sucked and if you wanna talk about toughness what age did sanders retire at? 28. maybe next time son

  • howmany full seasons has Reggie bush played? none cus he's a pussy. how many 2k yards in a season in a season did he have? non because he's too much of a girl to even play 16 games in a season.howmany times has Reggie Bush rushed for more then 600 yards in a season. 0 because he's too much a of pussy to run the ball. how many times did Barry sanders get layed out by a corner back? non because he doesn't SUCK like REGGIE BUSH. GTFO OUT AND SAVE YOURSELF THE EMBARRASSMENT

  • @idontnoapassword how many superbowls has sanders won??? none, and reggie bush has gotten over 2k yards every season and has never missed a game check the stats

  • @pacgangsta2 haha what ever helps you sleep at night. your a joke its funny

  • @pacgangsta2 are your running out of shit to say? hope i didnt make you cry. thought since you were a fan of a bitch you must act like a bitch.

  • @idontnoapassword no but since you said whatever helps you sleep at night that basically means you give up and i win this argument woooh reggie bush is better than sanders! anyone else wish to challenge ME?

  • @pacgangsta2 you didnt win.

  • @idontnoapassword ACTUALLY I DID I CRUSHED YOU ANY1 ELSE FOOLISH ENOUGH TO THINK SANDERS IS BETTER THAN BUSH CHALLENGE ME TO AN ARGUEMENT I WILL WIN

  • @pacgangsta2 dude your trippin. DOES ANY1 ELSE WANNA CHELLENGE ME THE REAL WINNER ON WHY REGGIE BUSH SUCKS DICK??????????

  • @idontnoapassword wanna hear a joke? barry sanders

  • @pacgangsta2 okay. wanna hear a funny joke? pacgangsta2 and the shitty reggie bush. BLOW ONE BITCH

  • @pacgangsta2 if the Lions were a good team and actually threw the fucking ball to Barry he'd have a shit ton more yards too you fool. Also, good teams usually do win championships, not individuals. The whole "he's got a ring, he won a championship" doesn't mean dick. Your so ignorant it's kind of sad.

  • @pacgangsta2 he has never gone over 2k the only modern back that compares to Barry is L.T and maybe

    A.D

  • @pacgangsta2 LMFAO MADDEN 05!!!! dude your a fucking tard. i think its funny because reggie bush sucks. litterly. no joke. like if i had to take all the bad runningbacks in the world including mighty mights. reggie bush would be under them because he can't even play a fucking season of football. reggie bush= failz. god damn he sucks. i play with im in madden 11. he's so slow like god damn he's fuckin slow. no jokes and gets layed out by cornerbacks. damn he sucks. but barry...td everytime

  • @pacgangsta2

Bro, you must be the DUMBEST person EVER. If you believe Barry was all hype, why don't you ask the HALL OF FAME that question, or maybe check out the record books. Hey btw, is Reggie Bush in any of those record books? OH wait, no hes not. Stfu man, you have no clear sense for football. Go back to your fantasy of Madden.

  • @Jgomez1031 your stupid... idiot

  • too bad lions sucked for so long... great player

  • had barry had a better O-line he would have had a few super bowls

  • Barry Sanders and Bo Jackson, yes Bo Jackson had defenses shaking their heads. Barry is the most electrifying back ever. Emmit showed his true performance when he went to Arizona, and it wasn't because he lost a stepp, but because he lost his line.

  • @lions208436 Well acctually Emmitt was kinda old when he went to arizona. You take licks at a running back for 10-15 years your gonna lose a step no matter how good you are.

  • At least the Lions may have finally replaced Barry with Jahvid Best...it'd be nice to have a two headed monster at HB with Best and Smith and Smith looked pretty good yesterday.

  • This video is a lot like his career: I didn't want them to end

  • this guy is insane!!! I don't nobody has ever tackle him on a one on one situation, he's too quick and fast for those big guys.

  • spin move

  • There will never be another...

  • sanders was an incredible abck too bad his team was ass

  • he blows reggie bush away

  • @sonlife145 i dont think so... *chuckle

  • top of the line, the last exciting and fastest running back snice 1997

  • He may not be the "greatest" but he was definitely the most exciting, I could just imagine a guy in his head like "get off me, get off me, can't touch me, you can't you can't, you won't, just stop it, I'm a beast"

  • Too bad he was on the lions!

  • @echs1 not really they went 12-4 with him, and made the playoffs....

  • greatest running back bar none.

  • back when the lions were actually good...

  • WHEW!!! Thank god they didn't add any bears games. He used to KILL the bears LOL. Im a die hard bears fan but I give props to barry. Respect

  • The only running back Lawence Taylor couldn't find! lol hehehehe

  • The best at the jute, studder step and speed change. period! lol love it!

  • not only was he one of the greates but also the classiest players i ever saw, you never really saw him spike the ball or anything like that.

  • LOL my favorite Barry Sanders moment was when he shooked Rod Woodson so bad that Woodson tore his ACL...dude 40 time dropped 4 tenths of second!

  • @lilze96

do you know where i can find that clip

  • Nobody did it better that Barry!!!!!!!!

  • and he never got a superbowl ring. the man couldnt do it all himself!!! damn, legend of player for sure

  • garacias BARRY SANDERS,,,por todas las glorias,,,,contigo me toco ver lo mejor de lo mejor en la nfl

  • Barry pwned the Bucs. Half of the video are highlights from Bucs games.

  • any doubt about who's the best of all time???

  • haha ok...well reggie bush doesnt suck, obviously he has some talent because hes pro, but compared to the rest of em, reggies got nothing, he was good in college but hes just a big hot head who thinks hes better then he is. Barry sanders is a very powerful back, nobody could bring him down because he was so strong. I mean the chances of a man his size taking on the best of the line backers 1 on 1 arnt very good, so he has to be extremly strong.

  • Wow, too bad he played in Michigan.....hardly ever saw him play live....

  • i think based on talent and skill and not production that gale sayers is the best running back of all time

  • He ran like an artists paints, he was real good real damn good. And he had class he wasn't acting a fool every first down or TD. He was a real pro. If he would have had a line like Emmit Smith he probably would have ahd 6,000yrds a season.

  • I could watch his highlights all day long, and he was one of the best running backs ever but he never really LOVED the game and that bothered me about him. Even in his HOF speech you could tell the guy would rather be doing something else.

  • Fuck you dumbasses Jim Brown is a way better runningback hell i bet you a 4 year old white boy could run faster than barry sanders

  • barry sanders was amazing but i personally prefer walter payton because barry sanders had a huge loss of yards and when he stopped playing he was old walter payton on the other hand he was still doing good if you disagree feel free to correct a 14 year old :P

  • @amritg187 barry was only like 30 when he retired, and it was a shock to everyone because he basically went out as the best running back in the league

  • @amritg187 Yes.....I will correct you young sir.....i won't argue about who was the better running back..BOTH of them are my personal 2 favorites....But Barry didn't leave the game "old" He left as one of the games 2 best running backs...barry wasn't doing good when he left...He was doing GREAT!! thats why it was SO shocking when he walked away man...Look up the stats sometime.

  • TD way better

  • i really like AC/DC but this is terrible music for a barry sanders highlight video. theres nothing AC/DC about barry's style

  • Barry Snaders was one of the greatest running backs of all time. He may have been short, but he had speed and power.

  • Actually the Lions had a pretty good Wr at that time, just the qb was average.

  • What was really great about him was how humble he was, made the craziest runs I ever seen a back make and never show boated.

  • I've never seen a running dominant like him w/ so little talent @ the QB, WR, TE & Offensive Line.

Thank God for the rest of the NFL, the Lions never managed to put any talent around this guy or Lions would've had a dynasty.

  • Some ppl say the Hes also known as EYeshield 21...u know..the anime character?..........is it true cuz i dont know it?

  • Damn. I forgot how great he was. It is a shame he never had a team around him.

  • 2:16 was the first time i ever saw him run, just amazing.

  • 2:02 Barry just destroyed that guy and stilled scored

  • You will never see a running back like Barry Sanders. Small, mobile, and quick. It's too bad he retired at a young age. He could have been hands down the greatest running back of all time. If you consider what records he'd have broken and would probably be holding to this day, he would be the greatest.

  • all of you think about jim brown

  • Haha I met this guy not to long ago! I work at the Salvation Army and he came and donated some things!

  • Barry Sanders was the Detroit Lions' offense hands down the #1 running back in the history of the NFL he didnt have a O-Line basically

  • Barry Sanders, real life tecmo bowl

  • the GOAT at that position

  • Barry Sanders was human highlight real ,one of the best,if not the best pure runner ever

  • Bush aint even average..All that hype coming out of USC and he havent even rushed for a 1,000 yard season yet...he's a rookie supposedly the best runningback in that draft that year but loses his starting job to a 30 yr old something running back (Not saying that Deuce MacAllister wasnt good). The highlight of his career was that Ravens player putting a hit on him and DATING RAY J'S LEFTOVERS...are you serious? Even saying Barry and Reggie in the same sentence is crazy ! Smfh @ some of u ppl !!

  • I agree, but it was Sheldon Brown of the Eagles that hit Bush

  • @MaxStayWitaStrap Agree 100% Bush may have a ring but he is not even in the top 100 greatest RB's of all-time. He is not even a true RB. He could not take 16-game load of carries. I have said it before and said again. Bush is a specialty weapon on 2nd and 3rd downs, gadget plays, play-action, and KR/PR. The same thing he was at USC only this time he is playing waaayyyy better Defenses and not the powder puffs at Fresno St.

  • @MaxStayWitaStrap that would be so disrespectful to barry sanders if people were event thinking of putting reggie bush on the same level as sanders. sanders was the man

  • @Jahada510 check the facts .thetrut h a b o u t b a r ry . c o m

  • @MaxStayWitaStrap

WTF? Bush is great how could you dress yourself in the morning? Hes amazing reggie bush just got haterz you gotta shut up and jus play man. Reggie averages 8.8 yards per carry and single handedly won the saintsa super bowl. lemme tell ya somthing: Haterz just hatewat they cant do

  • @MaxStayWitaStrap That being said he isn't really a running back. He doesn't get lots of carries. He is doing punt returns and more receiving. But ya I agree he hasn't lived up to expectations.

  • @MaxStayWitaStrap he's only ran for like 2,000 something rushing yards through like 4 seasons

  • @aggron453 clearly someone doesnt know their football

  • @KKKwerKKK ur an idiot he is a return specialist

  • How!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • How!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Anyone have the original of this, with the BUSH song?

  • now how the hell did he do that at 0;54

  • this video is boss. thanks for the upload and keep on rockin bro

  • ok listen retards who are comparing running backs to THE GREAT Barry Sanders, 10 seasoned veteran, 10x pro bowl selection, 6x first team all-pro, 4x second team all pro, every season with at least 1100 yards, one of 6 in the last 4 decades with a 2000 yard ruhing season, HALL OF FRIGGIN' FAMER!!! Don't compare, just watch the dude work his magic and stfu...

  • Neji1984= moron

  • your a fucking idiot

  • your a fucking retard.he retired in 98 thats not that long ago.... Barry Sanders=Barry Sanders!!!! U bitch boy! Reggie Bush does not compare to Barry is GREAT..Bush is average.

  • r u crazy, your forgetting Maurice Jones Drew! i think hes more like sanders then any1 else.even espn analyze think th same

  • @jjason696969 jones-drew is a lot stronger and more powerful at 205 pounds and 5ft7 darren sproles would be a better comparison for size, strength and running style

  • @thedirtysanchez21 Jone-Drew is a lot stronger???!!!!! WOW...Do you understand the power that Barry had in those massive legs??? People equate power with just running someone over and really think barry was JUSt a sat back..but go back and look at the highlights....VERY few men could pull Barry down one on one...He was THAt powerful...The film doesn't lie.

  • @miamisteele they have different running styles dumbass. ive never seen barry sanders lower his head without first putting on a move. the film doesnt lie. Jones-Drew doesn't have the balance, vision, moves, or cutback ability barry sanders has but jones-drew has a lower center of gravity and can run through tacklers better than barry

  • @thedirtysanchez21 ....Dumbass huh? lol...Hope you feel better after to that on...too bad you have to name call to try to make a point..Your mom must be proud...Anyway...I wasn't arguing that Jones-Drew isn't strong....He's def. has a more PHYSICAL running sty;le but as for being stronger..I'd bet money that he's not any stronger than Barry Sanders nearly 700 pound squating ass....And just because he DIDN"T run through guys doesnt mean he couldn't..Why would he when its easier to make them miss.

  • 1:10 my gosh never gave up

  • WOW i wonder if Dan Marino could of had someone like Barry on his Team WOW!!!

  • I read his autobiography and it talked about the only reason that sanders left is because he lost his competitive spirit because the lions lost so much. So when the lions sued barry for the return of the signing bonus he shoul of countered for killing his career. Lions will never have a winning season

  • if barry played 5 more years his records would have been impossible to break, his nick name should be i haul ass muthafucka

  • yeah but look at the team he was on as well. he was on when the cowboys were rolling through the league. the lions have always been shit and yet barry sanders still somehow prevailed over everybody. yes emmitt's statistics are better and some highlights are cooler but the fact that barry was on the lions and still did what he did makes him the greatest ever.

  • btw if you want to talk about running blocking catching, then Marshall Faulk in his prime was better then Emmitt, Emmitt was NEVER the premire back in the nfl, Emmitt was always in Barry's shadow

  • Emmitt was good, but hes no Barry.

  • no disrespect to Brown or Payton, but barry is the best running back i EVER saw, and im a Giants fan.

  • @jojjimbo i kinda of agree, payton was in a great team that went 15-1, barry wasnt too lucky when we are talking about how good the teams were.. but i still believe jim brown was a powerful runner, barry is just amazing though

  • @whiitekimchi What are you talking about? Payton played on poor to mediocre teams until past his prime. He may not have been the best running back, but he was close. He was the most complete football player ever! I'd pick him for my team above anybody!

  • @jojjimbo Payton and Brown could run, catch, block and occasionally throw a pass. Barry was the prettiest runner along with Gale Sayers...Emmit doesn't belong in the same breath. The Cowboys made a pretty good back a little better.

  • @jojjimbo You have only seen Brown in videos and that is quite obvious. I suppose you remember Babe Ruth and Shoeless Joe Jackson. Your Giants bowed to Jim Brown many times but it was way before your time. Keep quiet if you don't know what you are talking about and you don't.

  • @jojjimbo

The 3 best EVER are Sanders, Brown and Payton. The best I ever saw though was Walter Payton. I thought Payton was a phenom. The way he moved was like magic.

Jim Brown is before my time. And yours too (lol). He's from far back.

  • @jojjimbo i have to disagree, Jim Brown is THE GREATEST RUNNING BACK OF ALL TIME

  • @Jfredsmyname

You must be old and blind. Check out the stats brother, numbers dont lie. If Barry

continued to play he would have ended up with over 19000 yds and 139 total

TD's. With the worst team ever I might add.

  • @Jfredsmyname well I'm not old enough to make that judgment. and if you've had read my comment right, i never claimed berry was the greatest all time. just the best Ive seen.

  • i hate the lions but this dudes amazing!

  • Lol? There is a reason when it comes to the greatest RB of all time that Emmitt is rarely mentioned. It's Payton, Brown, and Sanders.

  • pretty soon to be LT....

  • Look out for jack, hes on his way!

    BIG JACK! BIG JACK!

You know its only natural, he gets you up to scratch,

    BIG JACK! BIG JACK!

Youve got a reputation you really got the knack,

    BIG JACK! BIG JACK!

He said that hes the only one who got a full sack,

    BIG JACK! Look out Jack!
