Do not buy this product in the UK - I used it twice and the button for release of base stopped working properly. Customer services basically blamed me for accidental damage and said that the 5 year warranty did not apply to anything external. There are no service engineers in the UK and I was left with fixing it myself or paying to send it to them. I think the Germans have a word for this product - MIST
I will never never buy a product from this firm again
I love my sebo, i've the black n silver pet one... but when it breaks down... eventually, I think I'll get a miele (also german brand). The mieles are even more hygenic then the sebos. It's so easy to remove blockages and change the filters and parts within, but the extra brush heads and bags and perfume cartridges are a bit expensive, though you get a free sebo bag to keep all the spare parts in. They pick up everything very quickly though, esp the large power head with the brush switched on.
I already phoned Sebo UK on your behalf and they say that the Felix is still selling. They've brought out a new polisher attachment and is intended to be used in conjunction with the Felix. So.. it wont stop selling in the UK or internationally. Just because you've had a bad experience with yours doesn't mean its a natural disaster. Ive had mine for 5 years and still going very strong. I'm also happy that Sebo offer a 5 year guarantee when the model is bought brand NEW.
It was electrical retaillers who told me it did not sell well. I am not the only one who has had trouble with a felix. Just because yours has been ok does not mean everyones elses is! As I said before Sebo are aware of problems with that model. My felix only came with a two year guarantee! Why make so much fuss over a bloody vaccum cleaner. Get a life!
Where's your evidence? Sebo still sell them - I phoned their MD to confirm it! Poor sales is rubbish - the Felix sells well and has continued to be a good seller on the high street.
Shops cannot sell it. Shops are also discontinuing the bags for it. The cleaner and he bags are being reduced in price to get rid of them. It is SEBO least reliable vacuum, their service people are well aware of the problems.

Now discontinued in the UK due to poor sales! SEBO admit it is their least reliable vacuum.

Too noisy for me.

Of course it would really help to show how quiet this machine can go and lower the suction in your demo to make your voice heard in this video.
