@rhinowalsh i had to laugh when I saw your comment. I work nights and lattes are a standard drink at night. I have access to the coffee machine so this video shows me what I needed to perfect my foam technique. Thanks for the video @monkeyseevideos
nice milk, could you please tell me how to make the perfect positon of steamwand while doing milk, please? will it be okay if the steamwand touches the pictcher? or it should only be in the milk? I think if steamwand touches the pitcher, the pitcher is going to be hotter soon. Please let me know I am struggling to be a good barista in future :)
But that was not really a Latte.. Im working in Cafe Milano and I have learned how to make a coffee by Italians.. they teached me to do always a "Tricolore" by Cafe Latte.. But that what he had done was more like an American Style of a Cafe Latte.. :P
THANKS. Like I said before I've had an expresso machine for years and didn't know how to use it. I would always go to starbucks or seattles best but now i can do it at home :)
"Upon finishing steaming the milk you wanna always purge the steam wand immediately and purge out any excess that has escaped.." "The heavy part of the milk is going to sink and the light part of the milk is going to rise to create a delicious foam underneath your drink." - makes total sense.
why some directions say steam milk to 160 degrees, but your instruction is 140. Whats the difference other than warmer milk? Should I stretch milk to 100 degrees?
Sorry for the Q's, I just purchased a machine on ebay and want to create latte art, but the method is confusing.
@drghettodave Me too. I just mute it and switch to a new screen and come back when it is done. I don't buy into the commercial propaganda, lol :) I will not give them the satisfaction!
@drghettodave stuff for free hey? You have to be kidding right? How much outlay do you think it costs to keep youtube running, nothing? come on mate. 3 seconds of ad then skip it.

I wish youtube would give us the option of a monthly fee so that we can bypass the ads. Maybe they already have I just haven't looked into it.

@SolidSnake032486 I use Mozilla adblock/trueblock plus, and I don't see those ads in front of the videos anymore, even on Vevo.

1you use the group for two coffees wrong
2before using the steam you need to download the condensate
3 you did not mention milk temperature this is important
4you used the glasses for coffee instead of a tank
5the glass is obscene not suitable for latte macchiato
6leading to the cloth belt sucks a professional bartender must be clean and should not have hung rags
7not pose rags over the coffee machine

Why is he pouring hot milk into a glass container??? Do you want to burn your hand or something???
nogoodcharles 2 years ago
Because it's a short on how to make a caffè latte. Lattes are generally served in glasses or bowls. Not cups or mugs :)
