Ronald Reagan fixed all of Jimmy Carter's mistakes.
America is great, & it's the people who make it so great, & Ronald Reagan was proud to be an American. All of his life, not just when he became POTUS, unlike 'you know who'.
He wasn't just a career politician, jumping from office to office. He had an actual career before he was a poltician. That's too rare, these days.
The whole world knew what his 'agenda' was. It wasn't a guessing game.
We all knew what he stood for.&He was respectedbyall
@steelersfan7238 Yeah many people believe Reagan was great, but he was vastly overrated. I wouldn't put him in the category as FDR, JFK, Lincoln, or Washington.
Reagan started as an fbi mole in hollywood, helped ruin lives by blacklisting them. When he became president...he did nothing, but help the rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. His reaganomics caused the economy to nosedive in the early 90's.He did NOT help end the cold war,the russians own paranoia did that, this right-wing revisionism is laughable. And he died of alzhiemers,..ha..ironic sense he vetoed research. Hot enough down there ronnie?!
No, Obama's called a "socialist" because he is. A coin flip has shit to do with it. Reagan was to the presidency what this Niner team was to football.
Wow, if Obama did something like that now he would be accused of being a media whore. Not to mention a horrible communist/socialist antichrist who is fixes coin tosses all in an elaborate scheme to tax the rich and turn us into a welfare state.
I think Reagan was the 1st president to call a coin toss at a Super Bowl, is he?
He went to Eureka College, and of course played George Gipp in 'Knute Rockne, All-American', so he was the perfect choice to call the coin toss. Did I mention that he was governor of California?
I think Reagan was in meeting with Saddam Hussain since the U.S. supported Iraq in the Iraq-Iran war. now look at what we have Iran ready to dominate the Middle East. Reagan was a lousy president at least the 49ers won.
He was an athlete/actor/president throughout his career. He helped the cold war come to an end and he made one of the most famous speeches in American history from the oval office about the Challenger disaster
I would have to disagree with you on your ascertion of Reagan helped the cold war come to an end. The cold war did not officially end until the collapse of the Soviet Union. During Bush I. And I don't see how you can become great over a speech. Several presidents made great speeches...doesn't mean they were great leaders..!
I did! And all I am saying is, I would not necessarily consider him a president who put an end to the cold war given that the cold war still continued even after he left office. Maybe you didn't know that?!?!
I don't appreciate the comment "Ma'am" right on my youtube status! All I know is that you really need to think about what you say before you say it yourself. Get off my back and I'll quit messing around with you! Ronald Reagan was a great man in many ways, ask a supporter of his and he or she will explain what he did that was great. So you can just leave it at that. PERIOD!.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
This is about all he should have been allowed to do.
One of the worst presidents in history for introducing religion into a secular government.
Woe is us when simpletons like this are trotted out as worthy of the highest office in the land.
And now we have wannabe dictator bush jr.
America is doomed.
