However, if you saw the show, u'd know that rachel was the one who was actually pregnant, but rachel played along.

*spoiler* oh, its because this was before the monica and chandler's wedding, so chandler was hiding out and smoking and then overheard phoebe and rachel in the hallway talking about monica (supposedly) pregnant. and somehow, he decided to commit and got the baby outfit. Wow...I can't believe I remembered the scene and I haven't watched it for a year or two. Btw, this is from the last few episodes of season 7 if you want to watch. :)
