I think my only complaint with this particular package is how much they gouge you for it. $1500 for this setup is really steep, and the components used cost less than a third of that. Additionally, if you're not comfortable with a DIY installation, you're probably going to be shelling out another $300+ in labor.
They'd probably sell a lot more if the price was more reasonable.

i'd love for you to speed down the freeway I patrol. For there is more then one way to skin a cat. Try and defeat the speed estimation. The range of my LIDAR (laser) by exceeds your LIDAR detector/deflector. I stopped using radar years ago and only use LIDAR. Food for thought, you better double your money and do an install to the rear of your car too. I get speeders coming and going. The life I save may be yours. Drive safely.
You know how many Bullshit tickets are written, but then again how many true bad guys get locked up, to make our street safer... I don't hate law or officers... But I do have a problem with cops using radar/laser wrong... Like ok you see a vehicle on the highway going 10-15 over not being wreck 'less and keeping a distance from traffic too stay safe... they don't deserve any ticket for that... you know riding in packs is more prone to have an accident then to break away from all of them..
save a life?? you mean earn money for the state. Why don't you save your own life by getting one, you lazy ass fucking coward. better yet, do some real police work and lock up criminals. Oh, that's right I forgot you're a pussy that has to hide behind a radar (lidar, whatever) gun. As far as I'm concerned it's people like you that are what's wrong with society. You're just as bad as criminals because you prey on the innocent instead of going after the real bad-guys.
...On average, I would expect about $500 or so for a complete professionally installed unit. With the Passport 9500ci there are a lot of components to install: 1 Radar Receiver 2 Front Laser Shifter/Detection Heads 1 Rear Laser Shifter/Detection Head 1 GPS Antenna 1 Speaker 1 Display Module 1 Control Module 1 USB Interface (for Software Updates) 1 Connector Junction Block (hidden) Our installer also vulcanized all of the outer connections to make them water tight.
Thanks. I think Escort did a good job producing this one.
My particular installation time was about 6-8 hours (figure a day) at a professional installer.
My particular installation ran $1500 (for two remote detector installs) and included the custom fabrication of the shifter area to flush mount the other detectors control module plus these guys weren't cheap (given the kind of high-line vehicles they work on).

So, Mr. Beatles Fan.
Why not consider adding your city/state to your displayed profile. That may be helpful.
Thank you for your suggestion, I already have it covered (9500ci/zr4+veil) on the tail. Works like a charm.
Thank you, I always try to drive safely.
Please don't forget, you are there to "Serve and Protect..." Remember why you joined the force, I suspect it wasn't to simply bag "speeders."
