Watch the documentary called "Supersize me". It's on Youtube.
It mentions a lawsuit two teenage girls brought against McDonalds. They claimed McDonalds made them fat. Apparently they think it had nothing to do with them going there too often. But let's say they win the lawsuit. The next day they could go to McDonalds and if they were refused service, they could sue McDonalds again. This is a prime example of how screwed up we are making the system.
Heart Attack Grill is a BUSINESS that dishes out food, not psychiatric help. It would take a lot more than a paragraph to make me think that the owner isn't more concerned about his money than his customer's health.
Am I mad at him? No way. Its the customers that swallow those lard chunks. They aren't forced.
so what is the big deal about people hatin on this place? any fat ass person can walkin to a grocery store and buy whatever fatty foods they want, and go home eat everything the bought if they wanted!!!! whats the big problem with fat people goin here, and eating what foods/portion sizes there fat asses would be eating at home anyways??
Oh the Irony. More people have heard of this diner because of the numerous TV and news stories like this one. You are only playing into "The Heart Attacks" hands morons. You are playing into this master of marketing. I think this guy is awesome. Fuck Blaire! If he was greedy enough to take, free burgers, fame and get paid to eat, fuck him, you reap what you sow. If there was a gun shop that gave you a choice to put a loaded gun in your mouth and pull the trigger, would you?
@excanmil13 actually....apparently you eat for free if you're over 350. i guess once you reach that threshold, they wouldn't have to worry about losing money for long by feeding you.
@CaramelCleo I agree completely. People have to accept the consequences of their own actions.
My original point was directed towards the people that felt this fast food joint was dragging people into it, and forcing them to eat this stuff. People are walking in of their own free will. Now if the HG changed it's policy and refused to serve an overweight person, how long would it take for them to get sued for discrimination? That's my point.
I give props to that restaurant, they've done something that health institutions, PETA, protestors, news, etc. have failed. In around 6 years of time, they've linked obesity, fast food, unhealthy food, and fast food restaurants to a death and heart attacks.
If this dude wanted to destroy his life by eating unhealthy food, he should never have had a kid. Way to go, asshole. Now your daughter grows up without a father. Selfish prick.
@fightforyourrights9 Exactly. I agree. And shame on those that support this crap and any trashy, low-life, overpriced, fatty, slobby diners like these.
how come the owner is not fat? because he wants to make money from dump people who have no respect for their bodies, and will never eat his own food.
When you see a video like this, you have to ask yourself, can I think for myself, or do I need someone else to think for me. No one is forcing you or anyone else to walk into a fast food joint. No one is forcing you to smoke. No one is forcing you to drink alcohol or do drugs. Make your own choices, good or bad, and be grown up enough to accept the consequences of your own actions...
@William14094 Unethical is the point that the video clip is trying to make. The hidden point is that we don't have to listen to it, because we can all think for ourselves. I look at the big picture. And the big picture is, advertisements, the media, are all trying to tell us what we should and should not do. Some people won't be happy until all of us are completely subservient. We still have a right to choose, good or bad, that's my point.
It's not the fast food that's making America fat, it's the piss poor education most people have on all things nutrition. With the lack of Quality health ed in our schools it's no wonder
This stuff is not food, it is candy in a sense. Fast food should be a treat not a diet staple, do yourself a favor and cut fast food out of your diet until you learn to eat healthy
You can't blame the makers of the stuff. You can only blame the consumers because there should be a point when people should be able to tell when they've had enough. All consumers should be well aware of what exactly they're consuming. You can't go and blame McDonalds for making you fat, because you constantly went to go buy burgers everyday.
if he would die from too much drinking or drugs the people would be like : omg he was an alcoholic or drug addicted he deserved to die .... but if he dies like an idiot from really really unhealthy food witch is even worse than alcohol to your body everyone is like yeah it was honorable ... :| .. because FUCK LOGIC! ... live the moment .. of course I do drugs .. I live the motherfucking moment why should I go to jail for that? :| ...
People like to blame Heart Attack Grill but the owner of Heart Attack Grill was aboslutely honest about how unhealthy his food is. He said it was unhealthy but it was delicious. People need to take personal responsibility. I I ate at the HCG every day and got diabetes or a heart attack, the only person to blame would the man I see in the mirror.
i want the heart attack grill to go out of business you know like shut down they should for killing people with gross out foods that is not healthy they should also get arrested
@angrycarlosthebird Okay than riddle me this Batman, what makes the heart attack grill worse than any fast food chain like Burger King. They're not, they're just being honest about it they're saying hey look unhealthy food we're not gonna try to make it look healthy by adding lettuce we're gonna be honest to you so eat up fat pigs.
Nobody holds a gun to people's heads and forces them to eat this stuff, so you can't blame the restaurant. It's obvious that this isn't something you should eat with any regularity, but as a fan of hamburgers and fatty foods, this looks tempting and I wish I could have something from there (though I'd probably stop at two patties in this particular joint). Why shouldn't I have a high calorie burger option available to me if I want one just because some people can't control themselves?
all fast foods r not forcing u to go in pay n eat it, its offered, your choice, i have a mcdonalds 5 seconds from my home i choose not to eat there. they r companys just doing what all company do, make money, make customer believe theyre getting a good deal. thats how business make profit, sell things for more than its worth. if somethings worth 1 dollar they will not last long if they just keep making that 1 dollar everytime.
@misterneckbreaker88 fast food restaurants make the most money because the food is cheap and easy to make, they pay teenagers to work there n cook it for peanuts. more expensive places have better quality food and it cost more nd requires skill to cook it.
Yeah... really. I don't think this place is targeting children. Well... Maybe young boys with those nurses... but still. McDonalds goes for kids with healthy menus and etc. things to sound better, but its still not very good in the end since they probably eat there much more often. Most people wouldn't eat at the H.A.G every day, and they don't sugarcoat their words about health.
People don't get it. The whole pont of Heart Attack Grill is REVERSE PSYCHOLOGY! McDonalds is very unhealthy, thus HAG is supposed to be extremely unhealthy, meaning that after you have eaten at HAG, you will likely quit eating so much fast food, drink so much soda, or smoke so much, or stop. Once you are given an all-out view of what you (or others) are doing to yourself, you will likely improve your health lifestyle.
You are waaaayyy off in your thinking. I believe you 'don't get it'. A business operates to make money. In this case, they are selling fast food. NO business, esp. a fast food/comfortfood restaurant is in business to teach consumers how NOT to buy their product AND change lifestyles. You are delusional.

Don't listen to all these judgmental people leaving comments. You should eat and drink and smoke whatever you want. Knowing that opens up a whole new world. Order whatever feels good and makes you happy. After dinner, watch some TV before falling asleep. Everything will be just fine. Relax, this won't hurt a bit.
Personal fucking choice! What do people get out of trying to pass judgement on others? Fuck you. I'll eat and smoke and drink whatever the fuck I want because I don't give a fuck what you think!
They can put up all the greasy restaurants they want but nobody can force you to go into them. Also, the women degrade themselves by working their but then they too have a choice not to work there.
Another restaurant that degrades women and contributes to the poor well-being of Americans. Now you should understand why Obamacare is being shoved down your throats you sexist pigs! And now, there is a daughter that doesn't have her dad anymore.
@IcedCoffee81 I'm sorry. But I don't know where you heard the news about the Heart Attack Grill forcibly dressing the waitresses as Nurses. I didn't think they were working in a sweatshop not getting paid.
@IcedCoffee81 Personal choice. These women don't have a gun to their head forcing them to work there. If someone chooses to eat food like this or work in a place like this what business is it of yours
This is not just about him people! Can you imagine how his young daughter is feeling, suddenly losing her dad? Didn't he stop and think about his little girls happiness when he was shoving those burgers in his face?! Yes, it is a choice and if a diet like this only affects you, then by all means do it if you want to. But not when you have children to think of.
I think its funny about people that complain about eateries like this. People should eat there if they want to and face the consequences. Its not any different than people who drink or smoke a lot or whatever, sure its unhealthy but its there choice and if they choose to do it then keep your complaints to yourself.
@Aaron91092 No he didn't. He publicized morbid obesity and created controversial internet videos that inspired young yuppies to eat horribly and he is now the partial scapegoat and celebrity of obesity so shut the fuck up, being fat is not good. It will kill you. He died, ok sorry, he's in my prayers, but he killed himself.
@mjl333000 He didn't suddenly weigh the equivalent of 3 grown men so he didn't suddenly die. The state of his health and his ultimate death were the predictable results of an apparent lifetime of poor choices and bad habits. When I see morbidly obese people continuing to eat like that I see dead people walking. He made a few bucks being the poster child for the restaurant and laughed his way to the bank but who's laughing now? Blame him for his daughter's tears.
@Aaron91092 honorable death? eating yourself to death is honorable? Then what do you call a soilder giving his life for his country? Guess you have a diffrent view of the meaning of honor.
That's just awful! And to all the people saying he "deserved" it? Shame on you. He died young, but he died happy, doing what he loved. Eating ridiculously tasty food. His death is not the fault of the place that he worked, it was his own lifestyle. But hey, if you want to spend 30-40 great years eating a quadruple bypass burger every day vs. 70 sucky ones eating salad on a treadmill, have at it. It's your life. Live it the way you would most enjoy it.
I find it funny how they try to blame the heart attack grill. Just look at McDonalds, KFC and Burger King. I'd probably go into the heart attack grill once a year, because I'm aware of the danger of eating that stuff. But, others would do it daily. You can't blame the heart attack grill or the owner, or people that work there. The heart attack grill are just doing what others would never dream off.
@GV1UK the fact that heart attack grill is out there to kill people and make obesity ok. It's wrong. U dont see mc donalds kfc and burger king doing that. This restaurant uses LARD to cook their food? disgusting and high fat everything. isnt that to kill ppl? they even promote it by saying 350 pounds and u get free food. U think sooner or later the person wont die? the point is they are out to kill people. So they should be shut down. America is obese enough.
@PsAloha Your problem here is that you think the restoraunt comes to murder americans like a killer, but thats only true if the restoraunt (murder) comes to you by force and kills you. But that is not the case here, this so called murderer if you can even call it that will only kill you if you ask for it. So its still your choice if you wanna eat there.
@GV1UK Shut the fuck up you filthy piece of waste. The difference is that McDonald's doesn't use Heart Attack tag lines to draw people in. It's the principle that counts. Dumbass.
@William14094 No the difference is McDonalds try to hide the fact their food is full of shit. Heart Attack Grill boasts about it. Since when has honesty been a bad thing?
@WinterHaven I think this kind of eating is beyond disgusting but you have absolutely NO right to judge and talk with such wickedness in your speech. God doesn't hate gluttons or anybody for that matter. I may have spiritual issues, but I can tell you that for a fact so watch your mouth! You're no perfect angel yourself and neither am I!
700,000 strokes and 3.2 million heart attacks every year in America. Many of these people are trailer trash with no health insurance so they suck the hospitals dry because they choose to be gluttons. They should be denied admittance to the hospital.
@WinterHaven You are so mean! What the fuck is wrong with you? You are meaner than Hitler and bin Laden combined, I hope you get roasted in Hell for saying that!
@WinterHaven The only thing worse than being as mean as you are clearly are is to go on about heaven and hell fairy stories like you do. Try something different ... be nice.
This is just one of many gimmicks that people use to make business. People you have a choice not to eat there. As for me I haven't been to the restaurant personally; however, I will try to make it to an establishment soon. This is not any worse then women eating then throwing up.
This owner is soulless. He babbles on and on when the only truth here is that he doesn't care about any other human being but himself. He's making money off of people hurting themselves. Some people will always hurt themselves and some people like this guy cry all the way to the bank. A weak guy like this clearly has nobody in his life that he truly cares about.
@alexandradeufemia your wrong, its up to the people if they will eat to his fast food or not, its up to the discipline of the people, people know that his food is bad for their but they are still eating it
@alexandradeufemia your wrong, its up to the people if they will eat to his fast food or not, its up to the discipline of the people, people know that his food is bad for their health yet they are still eating it
@alexandradeufemia The owner actually used to own multiple fitness gyms, but soon went out of business due to no one signing up for the gym. This led him to believe Americans don't care about their health, and opened up the Heart Attack Grill to see if this is true. Now he's making loads of money off these people. He's trying to open people's eyes, and make money off it at the same time.
@amperro wrong. I've been there. The floor is literally coated in a film of oil from the lard fryer. I almost busted my ass getting my fries. It is gross as fuck, the "hot nurses" are rude, and I will never eat there again.
@menkejo I'm not defending them, and I will never eat there. But they are paradoxically doing a favor to public health by driving home the point as to how bad this stuff is.
Thats such BS. This man was not happy with his life. Everyone enjoys a cheeseburger every now and then, but this man took it to the extreme. Some folks just need a lesson in self control. And that doctor should get a swift kick in the ass and have his medical license taken away. One third of American adults are overweight or obese and our country spends something like $1.5 billion on obesity related health care costs each year
Watch the documentary called "Supersize me". It's on Youtube.

But not when you have children to think of.
millyybabess 4 months ago
I think its funny about people that complain about eateries like this. People should eat there if they want to and face the consequences. Its not any different than people who drink or smoke a lot or whatever, sure its unhealthy but its there choice and if they choose to do it then keep your complaints to yourself.

He died an honorable death.
Aaron91092 4 months ago 56
@Aaron91092 No he didn't. He publicized morbid obesity and created controversial internet videos that inspired young yuppies to eat horribly and he is now the partial scapegoat and celebrity of obesity so shut the fuck up, being fat is not good. It will kill you. He died, ok sorry, he's in my prayers, but he killed himself.
mjl333000 4 months ago 2
@mjl333000 He didn't suddenly weigh the equivalent of 3 grown men so he didn't suddenly die. The state of his health and his ultimate death were the predictable results of an apparent lifetime of poor choices and bad habits. When I see morbidly obese people continuing to eat like that I see dead people walking. He made a few bucks being the poster child for the restaurant and laughed his way to the bank but who's laughing now? Blame him for his daughter's tears.
ypdave01 4 months ago 2
@Aaron91092 honorable death? eating yourself to death is honorable? Then what do you call a soilder giving his life for his country? Guess you have a diffrent view of the meaning of honor.

@Aaron91092 Sure until it would happen to one of your relatives! Be careful what you love.

WTF1920 5 months ago

GV1UK 5 months ago 49
@GV1UK the fact that heart attack grill is out there to kill people and make obesity ok. It's wrong. U dont see mc donalds kfc and burger king doing that. This restaurant uses LARD to cook their food? disgusting and high fat everything. isnt that to kill ppl? they even promote it by saying 350 pounds and u get free food. U think sooner or later the person wont die? the point is they are out to kill people. So they should be shut down. America is obese enough.
PsAloha 2 months ago
@PsAloha Your problem here is that you think the restoraunt comes to murder americans like a killer, but thats only true if the restoraunt (murder) comes to you by force and kills you. But that is not the case here, this so called murderer if you can even call it that will only kill you if you ask for it. So its still your choice if you wanna eat there.
zukodude487987 2 months ago
@GV1UK Spot on. :D

@GV1UK Shut the fuck up you filthy piece of waste. The difference is that McDonald's doesn't use Heart Attack tag lines to draw people in. It's the principle that counts. Dumbass.
William14094 1 week ago
@William14094 No the difference is McDonalds try to hide the fact their food is full of shit. Heart Attack Grill boasts about it. Since when has honesty been a bad thing?

I beleive its because gluttony is one of the seven deadly sins. could be wrong though, im basing this off what i heard in an episode of supernatural
solidviewer 5 months ago
@WinterHaven I think this kind of eating is beyond disgusting but you have absolutely NO right to judge and talk with such wickedness in your speech. God doesn't hate gluttons or anybody for that matter. I may have spiritual issues, but I can tell you that for a fact so watch your mouth! You're no perfect angel yourself and neither am I!

he ate 1,000 heart attck burger
troyiscute123 6 months ago
700,000 strokes and 3.2 million heart attacks every year in America. Many of these people are trailer trash with no health insurance so they suck the hospitals dry because they choose to be gluttons. They should be denied admittance to the hospital.

MrScreems 6 months ago
Ounce for ounce, I doubt Heart Attack Grill is any worse than McDonald's or Carls Jr.
Any all-you-can-eat buffet can provides better and cheaper opportunity to pig out than Heart Attack Grill.
amperro 11 months ago
@amperro wrong. I've been there. The floor is literally coated in a film of oil from the lard fryer. I almost busted my ass getting my fries. It is gross as fuck, the "hot nurses" are rude, and I will never eat there again.
menkejo 9 months ago
@menkejo I'm not defending them, and I will never eat there. But they are paradoxically doing a favor to public health by driving home the point as to how bad this stuff is.

Thats such BS. This man was not happy with his life. Everyone enjoys a cheeseburger every now and then, but this man took it to the extreme. Some folks just need a lesson in self control. And that doctor should get a swift kick in the ass and have his medical license taken away. One third of American adults are overweight or obese and our country spends something like $1.5 billion on obesity related health care costs each year
