Don lived in the next block, 90th & Hooper in Los Angles. I used to see him a lot but lost track when I went into the Navy in 1964. This is still one of my Doo Wop favorites including Earth Angels which came out of Doo Tone Records.

Don Julian was singing with the Calvanes for a time but he didn't sing "Heaven & Paradise" because of some music contract issue however, one night at a small nite club I was fortunate enough not only to see the Calvanes perform but during the last set Do Julian finally did "Heaven & Paradise" (thanks Don!) May he resty in peace ...
