@lucasprsguitars250 unfortunately no, your sound will come from much more than just peddals alone. The wood, cable, amp, everything comes into play, not to mention the pickups. i own both an american and offshore prs and both are great, however the american made one is leaps and bounds above. Its not a quality issue, merely a pricepoint. I paid a premium price, and in turn got a premium product. I do use the SE for most small gigs, but then again, i dont want my 3k prs to get stolen, or broken.
@lucasprsguitars250 uhm one thing you could do to get closer is first research his gear in his guitars he has his tremonti signature pickups which arent to expensive around 175 usd he has a morely signature wah which is bout 120 usd and a variety of amps with the pickup change and wah the sound would be definately closer than it was last is amps and other pedals do some reaserch and try to find an amp in the style he uses live and find a smaller version most companys sell amps in

Tremonti is about technique's yes, but even more about the melody and how to put everything together to make an awesome song... you can do techniques til you are blue in the face....techinques only won't make a great song...
Mark's the best-he writes songs and plays like he does. He knows how to blend classic rock, metal, blues, and modern rock all into his own creative, tasteful style.
It's the best blend out there as far as i'm concerned.

anyone here knows EXACTLY what combo amp is he using on this video??? It kinda looks like a Fender Cyber twin but I haven't been able to find that exact COMBO AMP
could anyone shed some light as to what gear hes using to get his sound, the overall tone..what he normally tines in?...im having a difficult time capturing his sound, im using tremontis signature PRS, and a Digitech GNX pedal..but i just cant get it right. any help would be greatly appreciated i looked in marks WiKi but it only states the guitars he uses, no amps or pedals of any sort......thanks ahead of time \m/
the problem is that your Digitech pedal sucks ass... all multieffects are artificial sounding, if youre on a low budget you can get a combo amp (Roland Cubes are the best out there, from the tiny MiniCube to the Mighty 80watts. including some pretty nice effects too) or, if you've got the bucks, get a TUBE amp, and an overdrive pedal and voila, you've got killer sound OR if you're REALLY loaded, just get a Mesa-Boogie Dual (or triple) rectifier, amplifiers just dont get any better !

I prefer Scott, he is definitly NOT a poser, Myles is very good too, but well.. he sings nearly everytime with the same kind of singing, and Scott sings different and has a bigger voice vollume, also he sounds unique
XxDeineOmmaxX: what you talk about is just one part of the picture, Myles has a more trained voice what you may or may not like, but more importantly, he has a bigger range of voice. both of them are great singers, and as you said Scott has a more unique vibe, sound or whatever it is called... i prefer Myles because he is a guitarist (and not a bad one!) too what made Alter Bridge's sound fuller live than Creed's but both of them are one of my favourite voices.
The only reason creed is back together is because they had broken off their contract with their prior label early, and now they are coming after them for a bunch of money. So their options were to either pay a huge fine or make a record or two and do a couple tours to pay the label back that way. From what i hear its not something Tremonti, Marshal, or Phillips really want to do, so i wouldn't suspect creed will be around much longer than they have to.
dude i saw them in concert for their new tour. there is no way that is true. they were enjoying themselves alot! mark and scott are so close to eachother. you need to watch some videos and read more up on it cause there is know way thats true.
thats totally not true. they broke up for personal reasons with scott. they actually bought their way out of the contract with the label and recording company so they wouldnt have to.
@oxausx I believe this as well. I am not aware of the lawsuit, but it could also be that this a good opportunity to make some more cash. It definitely depletes over the years .

People know who Slash is, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix etc... But a lot of people haven't heard of Tremonti. I prefer Scott, he is definitly NOT a poser, Myles is very good too, but well.. he sings nearly everytime with the same kind of singing, and Scott sings different and has a bigger voice vollume, also he sounds unique

XxDeineOmmaxX: what you talk about is just one part of the picture, Myles has a more trained voice what you may or may not like, but more importantly, he has a bigger range of voice. both of them are great singers, and as you said Scott has a more unique vibe, sound or whatever it is called... i prefer Myles because he is a guitarist (and not a bad one!) too what made Alter Bridge's sound fuller live than Creed's but both of them are one of my favourite voices.

The only reason creed is back together is because they had broken off their contract with their prior label early, and now they are coming after them for a bunch of money. So their options were to either pay a huge fine or make a record or two and do a couple tours to pay the label back that way. From what i hear its not something Tremonti, Marshal, or Phillips really want to do, so i wouldn't suspect creed will be around much longer than they have to.

dude i saw them in concert for their new tour. there is no way that is true. they were enjoying themselves alot! mark and scott are so close to eachother. you need to watch some videos and read more up on it cause there is know way thats true.

thats totally not true. they broke up for personal reasons with scott. they actually bought their way out of the contract with the label and recording company so they wouldnt have to.

@oxausx I believe this as well. I am not aware of the lawsuit, but it could also be that this a good opportunity to make some more cash. It definitely depletes over the years .

@jimmyleppard6 Everyone is entitled to their opinion and you are entitled to yours. I just don't see how Tremonti can be overrated when he isn't even that well known. People know who Slash is, Eric Clapton, Jimi Hendrix etc... But a lot of people haven't heard of Tremonti. I think he's underrated if anything, I guess you haven't listened to the first and second Alter Bridge albums?

my fave guitarists in terms of sound i like is dime, zakk, hank 3 lol yes i love me some hank 3, randy rhoads, jake e lee, tha g tarists from l.a. guns (back when it was the original lineup) tha dudes in cinderella, and tha ones in W.A.S.P.. and i love disturbeds tone

PLEASE STOP COMPARING THAT "POSER SYMBOL" CALLED "SLASH" WITH REAL GUITAR GODS!!!!!! also john frucsdkjsn sucks tremonti balls 10 times in a row... slash does it after john finishes haha, really, slash is nothing compared to tremonti, wylde, vai, satriani, gilbert, rhoads, etc etc etc... so PLEASE he donesn't deserve that title!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i hate him just for that
