I heard that rent was leaing brodway just yesterday i literally spent the rest of the day crying unfortunatally iv only sen the movie,but i've sen it so many times that i can sing along with all the songs.i wish there was something someone could do to keep it up

The movie doesn't compare to the play. The movie is flat and horrible (the only reason to see it is because many members of the OBC are in it) The director and Rosario Dawson should be shot. I have to admit that Traci Thoms was incredible.

I REALLY know how you feel. I only started my RENThead debut on October 13th 2006, and for my 17th birthday(this past may 27th), my dad ordered tickets for a show on August 4th. I had JUST gotten to the theater and bought the RENT t-shirt and the RENT/no day but today dog-tag, and sat down in my seat. I opened my playbill only to find that Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp were reprising their roles as Mark and Roger. After the show I got my copy of Anthony's biography signed.

The problem was, there were SOOO many people around, I couldn't sign the wall. They were all in the way, and I knew I would have to come back and see the show, and sign the wall. After hearing the news that it was closing, my mom bought me tickets so I could see it ON my birthday. I know it won't last, but I WILL sign the wall despite the fact it won't last a full week, and it will say...
