  • Merry Christmas lord Cockswain

  • 1:51 weapons of mass distraction

  • The f.m.o.m works just as it shows. Let's just say that I won't be having geography this semester

  • I bought the VICTORIOUS MONGOOSE 1902A CONCEALABLE RAY PISTOL. After some initial trouble with the battery-pack it worked just fine. No more neighborhood cats in my back yard. Warning: I just learned not to shoot at something when my car is in the background. Works also on cows. Funny how the legs keel over one by one after you vaporized the beefy part.

  • 1500:1 or less

  • Are these actually real firing rayguns or just models?

  • @xnaut248 They're props.

If we had the technology to make such weapons, we'd all be dead.

  • If you are dissatisfied with this product for any reason, just return the unused portion of your raygun to the manufacturer, and Dr, Grordbort's will cheerfully return any unused portion of your money. :)

  • I made F.M.O.M and Righteous Bison in LEGO for free

  • Now In TF2!

  • lmao, these things are cool but who the hell is DR. GRORDBORT?? and I went to the weta work shops and WHY??? Why does one little tiny ray gun cost over a thousand dollars? What's the whole back story behind this?

  • you guys are awesome. give me a job :D

  • I'll take five of each.

  • Three uncouth ruffians were victims of painful dissolution via infrabeam disruption!

  • this is relevant to my interests.

  • 7/9? looks more like 8/11 to me.

  • Or test fire the new "DG-2 Wunderwaff" created by a young scientist with a promising future: Dr. Edward Richtofen!

  • ask your weapon trader for the super perforator =)

  • Yes yes, ripping good laugh.

  • I own the Manmelter 3600

    Steampunk rocks =]

@animattronic follow me on twitter and listen to my Steampunk ElectroRock Music

  • Is this a viral ad for a comic book or videogame? Movie or television show? Whats going on here?

  • @supafly345 It's exactly what it says on the tin: an ad for Weta Workshop's Steampunk-styled "rayguns." Go to the website mentioned at the end of the vid to see more.

  • these things are cool but man are they expensive

  • ya it is hard to hit stuff

  • I only Buy Tesla Brand, reliable, easy to maintain, and comes with free batteries.

  • Free batteries?,

    you've got to be kidding!.

  • are u all crazy? do u believe these things are real???? wtf! we dont possess such a tecnology

  • its just for fun, don`t be abuzz killer.

  • You have not been to Weta workshop, have you?.

  • @neohip I have been to many stalls they make and stuff but I have not gone directly I could though take a few hours to get there though because its only in New Zealand if you live in canada its a 22 hour flight for a Workshop.

  • I live in New Zealand.

I live on the North Island of New Zealand.

It would still take me 7 hours to get to Weta,if someone were to offer to take me by Automobile.

Since I hate such abominations,it would take me some two months to walk there and claim my Manmelter,If they haven't already all been sold to swift Canadians!.

    What are you complaining about?.

  • @neohip Umm what I'm not complaining fool its a good thing.

  • Your reply is a little confusing.

    Are you saying...

1- it's a good thing I live so far from Weta.

2-It's a good thing because you are currently on a plane to Wellington

3-you have already been and gone and bought the entire stock?.

  • Ah...Then in the future, you will be willing to share all of of your limited edition collection, even the mighty Manmelter (I know you must have got one, that is why you are so smug!), which the rest of us poor mortals can only dream of!.

  • We ought to. And the adverts should look like this.

  • these are awsome,

  • Its really hard to hit something with the latelst model. I guess they dont make them as they used to!

  • Jeez...If I had a dollar...

You see that little dial thingy on the top behind the grip?.

It's not there just for show you know!.

  • This is bullshit.....there's been a ton of problems with the wave disrupter's trigger group...like 7 recalls already. Don't waste your money on this crap.

  • i went to the weta cave during a school art trip and saw some of the rayguns and the lord cockswaine and moon mistress sculpture. everyone touched it even though it said "please do not touch" haha. what i wanna know is why this ad wasn't played in NZ. i dont remember seeing it anyway

  • 690 :D ???

  • what i'm worried about is if they don't restock, dumb question i know but they keep saying its a limited edition all the time. also the rifle their selling? they say theres only 50 in the world. eather its a marketing trick or the truth. i hope they make more of this stuff, i actualy want some of these when i save up the money

  • Nope, there are only 50, they're hand made - trust me.

  • times like these makes me wish the econamy didn't suck XP

  • Why not win one of these? The Royal Armouries Museum is offering one as a prize along with a VIP tour of the summer exhibition: Arms and Armour from the Movies: The Wonderful World of Weta with Richard Taylor, creative genius behind WETA.Entry is through their website.

  • just went to weta cave today ad saw these beuties i want them all!!!!

  • cool what about a heavy weapon model for my steam power spider tank and heat ray carrage gad save the queen what and a damed fine cup earl gray what is what pax brittanica and all that rot what.

  • Forget elephant guns, this is the must have Selenite masscering device.

  • Obviously... that was a joke...that is how they are supposed to look... get it?

  • Get it? You can get them at the website.

  • I ordered an FMOM Industries Wave Disruptr Gun...

    I arrived in HORRIBLE CONDITION!

It looked like it was hundreds of years old! Rusty parts, not WORKING...

I had to SANDBLAST the exterior and paint black... ( Krylon" glossy BLACK ) worked best.

I could not defile so much as a newt with the overweight, unbalenced FMOM device.

I am returning this wave dis-dupter and waiting for V2.2 with the ceramic/titanium/gorithianum handle and infrairis sighting!

    Steve

    Venution MecaTrackHouse/FMOM/WDG/HoseFace

  • i really do hope you were joking...

  • I have decided to laugh, rather than slice your head off ^-^...hooray for ambiguous humour!

  • lol wtf? man i'm not even going to ask XD

  • @f4edom

You can complain all you like, but what did you expect!.

These artifacts are nearly 150 years old!

When 150 you reach, look as good you will not!.

I doubt you will work very well,or indeed be in any condition to complain about rusty parts.

I happen to know that when they originally uncovered the stash in1936,,the best ones were taken by a chap called Pete Jackson.

My late grandfather knew him back in the day.

He told me he was a genius, but very much needed a hair cut and shave.

  • ye gads!

  • I want such a gun too !

  • You know, those Moonmen really are shockingly rude bastards.

  • I need all!

  • I am selling da farm and gonna git all three. No more Mars attacks in my town!

  • That is one fabulous commercial. A lot of dough for a prop gun, but way cool.

  • Dawm these are the coolest thing ive ever seen, definatly gotta get my hands on one, id go for the Goliathon!!!

  • This was fantastic! Thanks for the giggles.

  • Wow.

  • Damn it, I have seen thes thing twice in person over the last 6 months and really want one!

  • Very paleo-future.

  • The word is Steampunk.

  • What do you have against Steampunk?

  • ... What?

  • @jhagar2 the word is retro sci-fi you ignorant fuck-up.

  • @Bleumange It's both, moron.
