WARNING!! For anyone looking to try this, DO NOT exceed level 70 for your blade skill. Every single time I tried to save my game once I reached level 70 it immediately froze up. I don't know if it's due to a recent patch or the fact that my character is only at level 7, but I hope it doesn't continue doing this after my blade level goes up on its own. (Xbox 360 version)

@rebal0devil Actually I had tried that. It turned out the problem is a well-known glitch called unreported assaults. Basically it's where you beat up on civilians too long without paying any gold fines. All I had to do was beat up a guard, pay the fine, then it basically fixed itself.

You may want to put that in the description since this video pertains to beating up NPCs.

Hey everyone. I'm new to all this. Have a few questions if you have the time. :) My son put this on my computer. . so no manuel. I'm trying to get that blasted staff for the mage in Bravil. I've seen one video on it but the guy touches the person. How do you do that?I can't fling the thing at him and hit twice like I need to. It's driving me nuts! / When you level up does that mean the gates get harder to take out? / How many gates are there? / Is it better to take out gates north/south?

@Songsmirth google UESPwiki, and type in the quest your having trouble with. It'll give you a thorough walkthrough of the quest. When you level up enemies level up with you, there are 60 gates in total. You do not have to close everyone of them, only the ones that are mentioned in the main quest. Direction doesn't affect how easy or hard the gates are, it's completely random.

@Songsmirth You can find lock picks just about anywhere, some shops also sell them. You can buy lock-picks cheap from the guy that you talk to, to join the thieves guild-once you join it. Also if you continue to work for the thieves guild you'll eventually get an unbreakable lock pick called the "skeleton key". You can tell if someone is a vampire if their eyes are a pale pink color. Running into a vampire is pretty rare though.

another good way to get your skills up is to go to Rosentia Gallenus' house in Leyawiin, she will have 4 scamps in her house which do not attack (at least until you attack them). They continually respawn and attacking them is a great way to get more skills, plus Rosentia doesn't even care...of course there is a quest associated with this...if you finish this quest you can find the ever respawning scamps at a place called Darkfathom cave near Leyawiin...

I cheated , the bow and magic armour/equipment cheat, and i got my acrobatics up to around 200, 300 when i use my +100 acrobatics spell and whenever i jump i jump so high that my argonian yells in pain when he hits the ground. I fell sorry for him lol
