  • Thats it. I got to learn this.

  • Our 188th Army Band has many gifted musicians.

  • This is the best tone I've ever heard. Well done.

  • hey im just wondering but if you can answer this for me what would one need to know to get into a band like this like im in JROTC and plan to join the military im just wondering like scales and so forth

  • @TheLostGuNNeR We would be happy to put you in touch with a member of the 188th Army Band or a NDNG recruiter, either of whom could talk to you about options and positions. Is there an email address or phone number they can use to contact you? You can let us know at NGNDSTAFFPAO@ng.army.mil

  • Please check video information for links featuring additional information

  • The arranger is Oystein Baadsvik

  • @tubamaster300

This particular arrangement is difficult to locate, but our 188th Army Band directed us to the following, which include a tuba solo with wind ensemble.

  • Best tuba player ever. Where can I find that sheet music to that tuba solo for amazing grace.

  • Wadsworth Constant.

  • wonderful tone!!!

  • Excellent, Id say that the Tuba is the best instument in a group, but thats just the tuba player in me!

  • Excellent job I would like to hear ave maria

  • excellente

  • Ok to make it straight. A fourth valve just replaces the first and third valve when you press it. One and three make a C or F and the fourth still does C and F. Theres nothing really special about it.

  • @LateNightSnack1 Other than the fact, it plays in tune a little better, especially when going into a lower register

  • @LateNightSnack1 It's also used to have a more in tune B natural with 2nd and 4th valve.

  • @LateNightSnack1 Changes pitch, usually to something in tune.

  • my tuba only got 3 buttons??

  • @liondoncefreak123 buttons?

  • @liondoncefreak123 bass tuba has 4

  • @CASTAirsoft contrabass or bass tubas can have 4 lol some bass tubas have 5 or 6

  • @liondoncefreak123 Most tubas have three valves but more expensive tubas can have four valves. The fourth valve allows for more in-tune pedal tones.

  • @Flamingdogsicle I dont mean to sound like a smart ass, but they can go up to six valves.

  • @Laughingmans6 No you are not a smart ass....it's the truth. I played on a CC 5-valve tuba and dream of playing an F tuba with 6 valves.

  • @wilsonkm my friend owns a five valve CC and a 6 valve F tuba.

  • I got to see an army band once.. it was so cool!!! they played thriller! :D :D

  • bravo, bravo
