  • @Mayorde18 What do you mean, WW2 didn't exist? That's ridiculous, I'm sorry. What can you say about the people who fought there? Who lived to see the REAL horrors that happened in Germany and Japan and basically everywhere. Hence "world war". It's not some imaginary concept. Just because you don't want to think about it doesn't mean it didn't happen and people died, families torn apart, and precious life wasted. That's disrespecting the survivors and is just plain cruel. How can you be proud of

  • @Mayorde18

That's a really self-centered way to look at the world. If we don't learn about it, how can we prevent something like it from reoccurring in the future? We need to know these things to advance forward in the future and to honor those who suffered as a result of these events.

It's a good thing the world isn't led by people with your mentality.

  • nobody know the name of this song??

  • i love china and japan, they are a beautiful country and calture and tradition and everything with it . i know japan made mistakes in the past but it is done and over with . they are trying to better them selves . america did awful things, worse than japan and who knows about chaina still.

what im saying is dont put all the blam on japan .

  • @Ex308

hoho japan killed 30 or 40 million chinese, then again mao killed 100 million or so stalin 15 million all adds up :)

  • @Ex308

And china will fuck the west indirectly, they wont use many direct attacks always there talkOUT comments and that is why they are good at lieing! :D

  • @yoyuepz well, same to your both commets you mad to me. yes both america killed 30 or 40 million people in their u.s.a. but im not saying your wrong or anything

what you said are reight on the target. ^^

  • @Ex308

sane or insane the universe doesn't care, what matters is the element *^_^*

  • @yoyuepz lol yeah

  • Why is this tagged with guzheng? There are no guzhengs in this music. It doesn't even sound Chinese, let alone traditional! What's sad is that this stupid fake Chinese music has many thousands more views than most REAL videos of Chinese music on YT.

  • @TheElectricTurtle haha, this looks like music from a video game.

  • japan can go to hell

  • @b09h if i may ask, what do you mean " japan can go to hell "

  • this is a good soothing song. i like it. its calming. too. thumbs up. :) <3

  • please don't talk about fucking history, I do enough of the bloody stuff at college. And anyway I thought I typed in Chinese Music not fucking WW2 Debate (lets blame Japan).

    honestly borin

  • you people are making all your ancestry sound disgraceful with how you represent yourselves...swearing and name calling, racist comments, it's terrible

  • why is it that on almost every traditional chinese song thing on youtube, there is something about politics?! can't people just ignore where the music came from or what the culture did wrong or right in the past? Just enjoy the freakin music! >x<

  • 我真喜欢这个,特别好听!

  • @TheMrKatriel wo ye heng xi huan! <3

  • I agree with you alphamission.

  • Also, the actions of a single person can't represent the rest of the same race. The war was commenced by the Japanese Generals(AKA war criminals), not the entire japanese race. So u shouldnt discriminate against all of them just because the japanese military made mistakes. If u say the japs are bad, think what the chinese did to their own race, they make fake medicines, they gather cooking oil from garbage residues, and the "Tian An men Massacre". so are all the chinese like the above? no!!

  • @AlphaEmission MAN u should become a Politician im reading ur comments with a lesson IDK help the people who are struggling to understand that we are all humans and that we belong i a world of Love not Hatred :)

  • omg seriously, the Chinese are too self-centered, what the japs did was the past, we as chinese should just forget about it, dont let the hatred linger, itll only hurt urselves. Its ok if the japs are hiding the true facts of the past from their decedents, im sure that every parents doesnt wish to be looked down by their own children.

Besides the japanese already learned their mistakes, even some of the representatives of japan went the CHina/Korea and apologized. What more do u haters want?

  • @AlphaEmission Japan never apologized

  • Beautiful music <3

  • fucking jappies should never be forgiven.never in their filthy race's time can they be punished enough for what they did.ESPECIALLY US CHINESE!!!WE MUST NEVER FORGET THE PAIN OUR ANCESTORS WENT THROUGH.

  • @kamikazeVX Excuse me? I'm half Japanese half Italian. That offends me. We are not a "filthy race" you are just jealous because our culture is unique and beautiful and you are just fat and ugly(: Fuck you hater.

  • @CherryxVanillah your culture is uniquue?oh please.your culture is a rip off the chinese.it's like a dirty version.come on.japanese are the parasites of the earth.so are you.you should kill yourselves.asians hate japan.japanese are rapist, killers and scumbags.you people glorify cannibal and commit atrocities only parasites can commit so before you open you filthy japanese yap go kill yourself cos it's a good deed.believe me.

  • @kamikazeVX Oh really? If you're so against Japanese people why does your name have "KamiKaze" in it. I hope you know that's Japanese. Good job making yourself look stupid. You're nothing but I hater. I'm Japanese/Italian and I know How to speak Chinese. I'm not a rapist, or a pervert, or anything. You're just a hater and YOU should go kill yourself for the simple fact you're probably just some fat ugly duchebag with no life trying to act tough over the internet and nobody wants you.(:

  • @kamikazeVX Aww did I hurt your feelings? Too bad. Face it, youre just pissed off cuz the tiny country of Japan made up of Islands kicked your huge countries ass. Japan beat the shit out of China. Get over it. Plus they're alot richer, more powerful and invented so many things that they're in the top 10 most popular countries(: By the way, your grammar sucks. Go get schooled retard and grow the fuck up. You should represent the chinese in a positive way cuz youre making them look like trash. Bye

  • @CherryxVanillah

Well we really don't care what outsiders think about us, if you learned some history you would know that how China was like in the past 4000 years. We didn't do very well in the recent 150 years but don't worry we are on our way back, and ain't like our humble/peaceful ancestors, the China that rising today is much more aggressive, don't blame us for that, the history has taught us the lesson, be aggressive or get destroyed.

  • @CherryxVanillah

To clear things up, I have nothing against other races, but what Chinese need now is more nationalism, to ensure our domination of the future.

  • @lanchurch Hun, Honestly I don't care. What kamikaze said was not ok. Enough said. So keep to yourself. Thanx.(:

  • @CherryxVanillah I bet your mum's a slut and your daughter gonna be a pornstar in the future and you are a mega slut and you gonna get killed by a chinese someday soon.

  • OMG Samurai at 0:47!

  • Hey! That lady looks like vicki zhao :D

  • Sweet. I'll make an electro remix of this song. OHYEAH

  • Reminds me a lot of Joe Hisashi's music and other Studio Ghilbi's musical productions. Very soothing, it touches my heart.

  • Very relaxing song.. And pretty girl at the seccond pic :)

  • breathtaking

  • never knew Chinese traditional music could be so nice... And I'm Chinese xD (Live in the UK) i need to learn more Chinese culture... the only i know which is chinese is the language.. mandarin and cantonese

  • @lalalamchops just get the youtube converter program and u could install this video in ur ipod, that wat I did :P

  • id really like to have thi on a cd or even in my iPod, so if anyone knows the name of this song, can you please tell me ? :)

    thanks in advance!

  • What is the title and the author of this music???

  • this is so beautiful...

  • when i listen to this.. i think about.. when Japan start a war to China.. (Sry my bad english) And.. Actually i loved Japan.. but... Now i hope it never happen again.. I love China.. (Im chinese)

  • Well, Japan is not like that now. Japan was like that because very bad military people ran the country. They tricked the Japanese people, and they wanted everyone to obey. Now, most Japanese people are sorry for WWII. I love Chinese culture, Korean culture, and Japanese culture! :)

  • japanese dont really know much about WW2

for some reason they refuse to teach it to children

perhaps they are trying to hide it

  • Also they even erased the Nanking massacre history from their Japanese textbooks. They even try to dismissed that it was a lie that Chinese used for propaganda. Make me sick. the Japanese government did it because it was an huge embarrassment to Japan and with the huge defeat in WW2.

  • @Hperman09 if really think about it... japan does somewhat make sense..not saying that their telling the truth...but look at china right now..everybody sees them as a poor victim of japan and nobody in this world has even notice that china has already taken over 2 countries tibet and east turkestan

  • @Hperman09 That's war, suck it up princess.

  • @Xgloomshadow I dunno, perhaps they don't want their children to get the same Idea like then...

well, whatever they did in wwII, I don't care about that anymore, times have passed, and it is time to burry the things that happened, and only when they are useful, we should dig them uyp again ( no offense for the family of the people who died...)

everyone in my class speaks hatred over al japanese... I think that that is no longer neccessary

greetings, what do you people think about it?

  • @Hunlover123601 Agreed. Time to let bygones be bygones. Still, they should at least teach of their mistakes so they don't accidentally get repeated. But I noticed a lot of countries in Asia are too proud to really teach their faults -- of course, what country ISN'T too proud and arrogant in this world? *sigh*

  • @Xgloomshadow i think they are tryin to refuse the defeat i think in many wayz they lost a side of honor during the war but then all in one wat good come in wit war never is there honor right

  • @Xgloomshadow Chinese dont know much about the cultural revolution, for some reason they refuse to teach the true story to their children.

perhaps they are trying to hide it.

(i asume you were referring to the crimes committed by Japan in China by your comment)

There are many crimes in our history, but If one dwells in the past, how can one ever grasp the present?. Time to bury that battle axe.

  • @Xgloomshadow Or maybe they just don't give a shit. I see no reason it's so special, there are lots of wars. They obviously know about it, because there are lots of people there into Nazi chic(dressing like Nazis).

  • @Xgloomshadow Same way we hide things in America, only our goverment is less public against it.

  • @pwnyomoma

    agreed

  • @Xgloomshadow

You 16 years old from yorkshire and you know this(or is that a lie?)? You sure you are not a bias chinese living in Yorkshire? ~I think they are taught WW2 but differently. Then again Sun Tzu said all war is based on deception, something chinese excel in!

So come on you British Born Chinese we all know that those tiger countries dislike each other yet so similar!

  • @Xgloomshadow or maybe they are trying to put some better input to kids. Really, the WW2 didn't exist, it only exists as an imaginary concept in your mind. Besides, no one needs to know about it. It's like watching news. Who the fuck wants to know that someone murdered people or that someone suicided? I'm proud to be a WW2 ignorant. Call me an unculturized guy ;)

  • @mayorde18

WW2 did exist. Although i know what you mean, i was not part of it, therefore it was in my mind (but it was there in the past) unless you are were being philosophical

anyways, i disagree, people need to learn it. In some countries, schools teach it by law

the reason being is because it was the most bloodiest conflict with the most deaths in human history. Therefore, it is taught so that it may not happen again with future generations.

concept of WW2 ultimately serves as a warning

  • @mayorde

    More like ignorant, but whatever.

  • @Xgloomshadow that is a complete lie

  • @Xgloomshadow

They do teach it to teens in Japan....They know what they dd was wrong, but no country is perfect, America, Japan, ANY country has done terrible things...The Japanese regret what they did....The Japanese are more calm now and is never going to war again, they fix the mistakes they made, thats what I love about them.

  • @Xgloomshadow The Japanese do know about WW2 . On countless occassions their prime ministers have undeniably apologized for the wartime atrocities commited by their Imperial forces as well as their people including historians have taken account of this, doing extensive research as well. Even veteran Japanese soldiers like Honda Tatsutaro a 91 year old has expressed his deepest grievances for taking part in Japan's aggressive behavior even to the point of crying . So yes they have many times .

  • @Xgloomshadow I do not deny that the Japanese government does deny the use of Comfort Woman during WW2, saying they were volunteer prostitutes but that doesnt mean the subject is universal to the Japanese . Many Japanese authors including historians and prfessors have written on the account of it .

  • @Xgloomshadow The Japanese have also paid wartrime reperations as well to many Asian nations . If your one of the unfortunate ppl to read that load of bs from Iris Chang, the Rape of Nanking you'll find many historical inaccuracies that are universally rejected by most historians as half-baked . She wasn't a trained historian and even described the Japanese with the opening of the country in the 1860s that they never advanced beyond the bow and sword which is untrue .

  • @Xgloomshadow The Japanese had advanced quite far with the use of firearms which were brought by portuguese traders in the 16th century .

  • @Xgloomshadow GOOD DO YOU WANT YOUR KIDS TO SUPPORT WAR!?

  • @Xgloomshadow

I agree, but whats that got to do with this video?

  • @ShugoCharaKawaii 历史不容遗忘,尤其是对不知道道歉为何物的国家。

  • so sweet...

  • wonderful music

  • this song brings back old memmories

  • soo touching this music i rate this to 500000/5000000

  • chinese musics are better than japanese

  • yes, but actually, japanese are descendants of chinese, about a few hundred years ago, the chinese escaped to japan from the slavery they were experiencing then married some ancient japanese people there, that's why now, japanese and chinese are almost the same

  • Comment removed

  • no prob! its my pleasure to share some of my own cultural heritage to few who care....haha

  • Um... I'm afraid you'll have to back some of this information up. Japan and China have similarities, but they pale in comparison to the differences. They are both two very distinct and beautiful cultures. Also, the reason Japan and China are at all similar is because of the trade of ideas that Japan received through Korea from China. I never read about Chinese slaves emigrating to Japan and genetically altering the country. Is there a book you could show me? I love learning about Asia. ^_^

  • @ytcomposer The japanese were once chinese ppl that got kicked out and then formed their own little place. They copied thier tradition from China then they come and rape us AND THEN THEY DONT APOLOGIZE. Seriously we need to build a wall around japan to prevent them from attacking again. BUT I LUV KOREA :) KOREAN AND CHINA FTW!

  • @KellyRuleszzzz: Well, actually, the Yayoi Japanese (the Chinese that got "kicked out") were thought to be immigrants from both China and Korea. That's a lot of people to kick out. They didn't copy; Chinese and Korean culture was shared through diplomacy. Yes, Japan's military did horrible, unforgivable things, but they are making sure those cruelties never happen again. I don't know what any of this has to do with my comment about the incorrect music, but I wanted to set the record straight.

  • Comment removed

  • @ytcomposer

Thank you! Now i learned something from you! :D And you right , the Japan military did hirrible thing! And thas unforgiveable! :'( I love China!

  • @ytcomposer

no. Chinese culture was copied. Before Japan was in contact with China, the Japanese lived in primitive huts.

  • @marcusyuguang: ...well, yes, Japan had huts for a while, and Japan did use many Chinese ideas during the Kofun, Asuka, and Nara Periods (250–538AD, 538–710AD, and 710AD–794AD), but there were many Chinese immigrants that brought these ideas, many of which spread to the noble classes. The huts and villages of the Han Dynasty don't look that different from those of Japan at the time. China gave a lot of wonderful ideas to Japan, and I really respect both cultures.

  • @ytcomposer

sorry, not really. Compare the Yayoi period and Han dynasty architechture. During the Han dynasty the Chinese created pagodas, and the Japanese lived in huts made of hay. Japanese culture is basically Tang dynasty culture, which is quite simplistic compared to the subsequent Chinese dynasties.

  • Except for North Korea, they need a revolution now!

  • @KellyRuleszzzz

Thank you! Now i learned something from you! :D And yeah! Korean and China <3

  • Well, first of all, this is not in any way traditional Chinese music. In fact, this sounds more like Japanese anime music. Second, I'm not sure what "jrl423" was talking about, but Chinese slaves have nothing to do with the similarities between China and Japan. Jrl is right about there being some cross-cultural marriage, but the Japanese are not directly descended from the Chinese. I can explain it further if you like.

  • oh, ok then explain further please, i'm glad to learn about it

  • ^_^ Thanks! Jrl is right about there being some Chinese influence, but it is a completely different story. Some say that the first Japanese people, the Jōmon, came from Southeast Asia through China and Russia about 16000 years ago. Then, the Yayoi people, who some say are a mixture of Han Chinese and Korean, came and intermingled with the Jōmon about 2500 years ago. The result is a highly complicated genetic mix.

  • (continued)...also, Korea helped bring all the musical instruments, food, and language characters from China. The Chinese were trying to get everyone to buy into their ideas so that they could trade with them easily. It was such a profound plan that even now Japan is one of the only Asian countries that still dutifully uses Chinese characters in its standard language. Japanese music, however, is vastly different, as you know, and it stayed that way even after Chinese influence. ^_^

  • ahh, probably thats why china and korea are friends, but i've heard that japanese and chinese hate each other

  • Well, China and Korea have a pretty iffy relationship. South Korea and Japan are somewhat friendly, even though Japan took control of the country for a time and forced the Koreans to learn the Japanese language and culture. China is a whole different issue. Japan committed some truly horrific atrocities against China during WWII, some of which the older and more patriotic Japanese deny even now. However, most younger Japanese citizens don't feel any resentment toward the Chinese.

  • This is absolutely beautiful but this doesn't sound much like Traditional Chinese Music as I dont hear any traditional instruments present here at all.

  • yes there are. The piano that you might hear is actually a chinese piano, i know because i play one. If I hear correctly, there is also a chinese hap, flute and vioin, I play these too. I'm a chinese, so I should know.

  • Chinese piano? Interesting...what does it look like?

  • beautiful

  • what's the name of the song ?
