I have a 2005 LS, it does not work on mine. I tried several times doing the exact same thing thats on the video, nothing happens. The service menu shown on the video does not come up.
Toyota explains that lawyers had them remove the override on new models. They don't want you to hurt yourself. Thank goodness for lawyers, what would life be without their godlike insight into how a user might make use of a feature like programming a destination while the car is moving. Ever heard of 'passengers' ?? Or pulling off the road in traffic, or exiting a freeway in some unknown area just to enter a destination. What about your safety? As long as it's not Toyota's fault, who cares.

The process for getting to the service menu worked well until I updated the software last year. Do you know how to override the new software?

while the car is moving? stop driving and playing with gagets/telephone/internet/computer and focus on the road before you kill a family

This works great on Gen 4 systems. I also got it to work with the latest 8.1 update.
