@bender2k1 sorry; I think it is already on it way to the scrapyard. My uncle passed away a few weeks back and I think his son-in-law already trailered it down to Phoenixville scrapyard.
Pull all the plugs and squirt in some light oil like marvell mystery oil in all cylinders. Let set a week. Check oil level make sure it's up & add if needed. Do not change oil yet Crank over engine without plugs till oil light goes out. Install fresh plugs & pour a little gas in carb throat. Should start. You can run like this for a while then change oil& filter. It will need brake work for sure along with maybe a carb cleanup fuel pump and a few other minor things but should be ok.
@jkt8012 two years since this video and it has not moved! My nephew who was in the video loves the van and wants to fix it up; but he lives in a developement (with his dad, my brother) and has no where to park and work on it. Trying to convince my dad (pop-pop) to take it and store it on his property till he is older and my brother buys another house with a garage.
That's a wicked old van that prob could be running easy enough! The body is not even too bad and it's clearly complete! I say restore that cool old A-100 though right away!
Actually I was under the van a few months ago helping my uncle jack it up. The frame and floor was not all that bad! As for the motor, my uncle claims it ran up until about 4 years ago................
I was wrong about the van running 4 yrs ago. I was just up at my Uncle's this week and asked him about the van. He said the motor ran in 1995 but lost oil pressure and he thinks it seized up because it just 'stopped'.
I could ask my Uncle if he'll sell it next time I see him; but I gotta tell you I has been sitting in that same spot scine '92 and I am not sure how rusted it really is ,including frame and undercarrage.....
I'm a mouth-breather and the mic on the camera is 3" from my mouth. One time I took a vid and all you could hear was me with the 'sniffles' the whole time; needless to say I never posted that video..[lol]
This exact body style was used from 64-70 in short and long wheelbases. There were a few options for doors. Doors on just the curb side, doors on both sides, or no side doors at all. They all had the double swinging doors, no sliders. The vans with windows were considered stationwagons and Dodge called them the Sportsman. Models with no windows were considered a truck and called the Tradesman. Mt first car was a 65 Sportsman, so I know far more about them than anybody ever should. Any questions?

None from me but my nephew might have a few; he finds this old van very interesting. I will pass it along.......Thanx
bbo40 3 years ago
From doing some research, I think that particular style without the side doors is a 1964.
BMRGFan 3 years ago
This van does have side doors on the passenger side; but there are no windows in those doors making it a true panel van.
bbo40 3 years ago
Do you know what model and year it is?
BMRGFan 3 years ago
I think it is a 1964, at least that is what other 64s look like and it is a A-100 Dodge van.
bbo40 3 years ago
I might be off on the year; this style lasted from 1964 till 1970 in several different forms. Have to ask around for the actual year...
