So you still have to use your email account to read .pdf files? I have some scripts written and it would be nice if I could review them using the iPhone without have to always check my email because I'm not sure if it takes up battery life always loading it up.
Already you can get great (and free) ebooks from the App Store. Right now I'm reading 'Alice in Wonderland' and 'Dracula'.
Not bad. But it's still nowhere near good enough. THe screen is too small and once you've experienced the glory of e-ink paper it's hard to get back to traditional screens.
Nice bonus feature for iphone, but killer ebook reader it is not
The iPhone does have a lot of potential as a reader, but it has some significant limitations, too. Be sure to read the accompanying notes that I included with the original blog post.
Hey this is way cooler (and practical)than the Sony eBook reader!!! I was going to purchase one but got discouraged by the price and lack of additional features. The closest gadget that I would want to buy is the Panasonic Wordsgear.
this is what i did for my psp and it should work even better with the iphone. get a program called paperless printer to breakdown pdf's pages into individual jpegs. put on iphone and view in photos. If you need help let me know. im getting an iphone next week im gonna try it out :) see ya
