They have been transporting military vehicles by train for YEARS! They have been winding down our occupation in Iraq and in Afghanistan for some time now. Also, did you know that the Federal highway system was first built for the military to be able to transport equipment and troops nation wide?

I also see trainloads of vehicles moving by my house, right here next to Ft Hood, coming and going, most of it returning from Iraq. The other stuff is going to Red River Army Depot to be upgraded/re-fitted. Some stuff is headed to other bases/post’s for training, y’all are way too paranoid.

Wow….Talk about paranoia…..The Military moves vehicles; Tanks, Bradleys, HWMMV’s, LMTV’s/FMTV’s by rail because it’s the cheapest/most cost effective way to move them. The DOD has they’re own fleet of rail-cars designed to carry any kind of vehicle, hence the letter on the side of the car, “DOD”. I’m 99% sure these vehicles were coming from a training rotation at one post and heading back to the home station for that unit or vice versa. Calm down people….it’s a daily occurrence.

most likely these have come back from Iraq. the timing is about right. Notice the machine guns have been removed. they are probably going to a hub for repaint, maintenance and refitting. the white ones are U.N...or were used by the U.N. at our expense. More than likely after maint and refit they will be redistributed and re armed. You seem to be along a major train corridor...don't be surprised if you start seeing choppers and tanks coming through as well.
