Excellent stuff! I think the Los Angeles crowd got a special treat. This is like an extended version of 'Don't You Want Me?". I saw them live for the first time, last month, at Newport in South Wales.

It was one of the best concerts I had been to and I saw them for the very first time. It was a part of the Steel City Tour featuring bands such as Heaven 17 and ABC as well. The Human League played last and they were the best. The whole little sports auditorium turned into a magical place when they played. It was a memorable experience.

I have seen bands with really good singers. But their songs and even their singing don't have a lasting appeal. On the contrary, Philip Oakey has got a lot of character in his singing voice that suits the songs he writes. He is a unique vocalist as opposed to a trained singer.

By the way, singing on key is important but not always.
