@thesunsetreptiles your not a dick but if you read past comments this was discussed. apparently a trailer came lose from another vehicle on the bay bridge causing this disaster.
Well it has been 3 years and 2 days to the date and it still seems like yesterday we where all sitting around talking and haveing a great time as always!! Jonathan and Randy Orff you are both tremendisly missed but you will never be forgotten!!!!!!!!!!! May you both Rest In Peace!!! Till we meet again
God Bless all firefighters.. Especially the ones who lose their lives for another one to breathe air and live life safely.. R.I.P brothers and god be with you.
What a nice tribute to such a horrible tragedy. The only consolation is that father and son entered Heaven's Gate together, but I'm sure they left much sadness and emptiness behind. Prayers for their friends and family.
wow that is so sad my dad is a captain on Merrimack fire and my bro is a part time firefighter and going to collage for it this is a great tribute it makes me cry for the family
Ok, i didn't even know these two people. But this video has brought tears to my eyes. I am a Volunteer Fire Fighter in Virginia and its hard sometimes. May those two brave fighters be sitting next to god right now looking down apon us all. To the town that lost the members: My prayers are with you.
firefighters jon and randy shine your light on all of your brotheres who are firefighters so they can see when you are gone rip brothers all of your brothers and sisters miss you dearly gods speed never to be forgotten
Jon and Randy we Miss you both but you will always live on in our hearts!! I hope you and Randy aint havin a hard time Keeping dad straight. It just seems like yesterday i was talking to you Jonathan up in the Plaza. And Randy it seems like it was just yesterday i was talking to you when you where working on the Chester River Bridge. May you Rest In Peace Till We Meet Ageain!
Gone But Never Forgeten Crumpton's BRAVEST Randy And Jonathan Orff
Hey Buddy, I was at the firehouse this past week on the one year of your accident. We all miss you and your Father, wish it wouldnt have happened this way. R.I.P. Cant wait til we meet again. Hold down the fort up there!
May 10 2008 marks one year since we lost these 2 amazing people. But their memories will live on in our hearts. We miss you Randy and Jonathan. Watch over us and help keep us all strong!
Hey its nice to see a department take care of there volunteers like that not all are like that. Its hard to lose brothers its even harder to lose them so young. Mine and my departments' heart goes out to you.
Sorry to hear of the loss of your fellow brothers. My department lost a brother 3 months ago, a very difficult thing. Be Safe brothers! Great video in honoring them! I am a firefighter in upstate NY for the past 11 years.
It does not matter if it is a line of duty death or an off duty death. They are still part of the fire department and it is still a loss. Please respect them rest in peace brother
I understand. We are a very tight nit volunteer community. We work closely with one and other. To loose friends that were as wonderful as Randy and Jonathan was extremely hard. Especially in a situation like a simple accident. They are our Brothers, Our family. I hope that answered your question no offence was taken :)
Im glad you took offence. I meant the utmost respect. I understood why your department was involved. I was just wondering about the other departments. It's the true sign of a man's character, the amount who attend his funeral. Stay safe.
@HermitousZen you can go to hell. if you cant understand why this had such a massive turnout then your just a waste of good oxygen. for your sake i hope i never see you in person. i cant believe you'd make such a outrageous comment like that.
To lose a fellow firefighter is one of the wrose things I have had to deal with. I am 26 years old and had to watch a firefighter die in my arms. That site was horrifying enough but to be at the funeral was terrible. I just would like to say to any member of the department that lost these two firefighters my thoughts and prayers are out there with you guys.
Very sorry to hear of the loss of your brother firefighters. May God Bless you all and keep you all safe. My prayers to the family and friends of Randy and Jonathan. I'm sure you all will carry on and keep their memories alive in your hearts as they would wish.
Hey Crystal its Justin Parsons you all keeping jaybird straight, I just wanted to say this is one of the BEST Tribute Videos I was close to both Randy & Jonathan Orff. They would Be VERY PROUD! NEVER FORGET JON AND RANDY CRUMPTONS BRAVEST 5/10/07
omg i rode over the Bay Bridge On saturday the 28 and i started crying and bowed my head. The scary part about it is nobody said anyhting to me about the accident til i got this video and i belonged to that fire company and i know them so now i am so sad that happen. SO i have to watch this video almost everyday now I cna not believe it. I was at the fire exbo last week and a bad accident happen like this and i went to the call and i had to walk away i could not deal with seeing that.
That was so beautifull it made me start crying and it made me think of my brother who is a firefighter. My prayers go out to their families. And God bless thier souls.
i have saved a life during a traumatic rusus on my own for 45 mins. that time seamed like forever. but to see the fire-fighters from Cardiff central arrive was heaven.
that night has stayed with me , and will do so forever. but my respect goes out to the fire fighters throughout the world, as well as the EMT's and paramedics, because that was enough for me, but they have it day after day.
Thank you for posting this video though, even when my hope seems almost lost... As if I never will be free of my disorder. I feel renewed, regaining my drive for the dream I have to be a Firefighter. What an Honor, it would be. I want to give back & I love to help people. So Thank you, my thoughts & prayers are with the families & Friends.
I am so deeply moved... I was aware at first, until I saw the accident & Then the black drapes on the Engine... I am still crying, and had never met them.
I Will pray for us all... And by god if I'm, every seizure free... I'll be able to seek my calling, the epilepsy prevents me, but believe me to all our brothers & sisters, I love you all. Miss those lost, and remember. God bless & Keep on doing what we do best.
they were on their way back home from work and they were going east bound on the west bound span of the bay bridge...unfortunately a trailor from another vehicle came off and caused the wreck 3 lives were lost. very sad day for all of us
i dont mean to be a dick or anything but how did they crash. if you take it the wrong im sorry. just want to know how this happen.
