@djdogjuam All the deadly spiders in Australia are actually smaller than this (the deadliest in the world). We don't really get ones as big as the US does like tarantulas or goliath bird eating spiders.

That being said, prepare to deal with spiders on an annual basis.

To Leokim, if I vacuum them I leave it on for at least 3 hours, if it's not small enough that I can put it outside.

there are much more humane ways to remove unwanted spiders from you household, that dont involve the poor things being dead at the end of it, i personally have 9 tarantulas in my house three of them are goliaths and range from 8inches across to nearly 12inches across and there not even adult yet! for some one to kill a spider like that is just disgusting to me.

@AnastasiaLUVSU look at it this way for a moment. what would you do if you were a spider and a human came at you with something in a threatening way, not for getting that spiders are a fraction of the size of humans if i was a spider i would freak out. thats what spiders do they run away they are more firghtend of you than you are of them, the few spiders that would chanse you are the cobalt blue and some of the more goliath species, they would only bite you in self defence.

@AnastasiaLUVSU also, tarantulas, and spiders, are very fragile, more fragile than crystal, if the fall even just the same length of there legs they can die, they dont store oxygen the same way as humas do as there "blood" is not capable of it,so can only do very short bursts of movents. if he didnt intend to kill the spider then he could have used a tub to remove it from his house, instead of sucking it up a hoover!

I read that in my country the only dangerous spider here is the trapdoor spider. The most common is the daddy long legs which is harmless. But even when i see one i crap myself. You're a trooper for staying in your house with all of them D:

when i was little, i would never encourage anyone to hoover up a spider. they all seemed tender to me... to this day, i always cach them very gently and release them. the kid is cruel and the spider isn't "grogy" it's dying. even if you can't see any physical damage, the shakes probably caused huge shock and the dust got into his book lungs...
