These exotic images took me back to my tiki bedroom decorations in 1962 Buena Park CA. I carved and painted many little tikis in dayglo colors, then glued them along the length of 2 large bamboo poles with netting stretched between, upon which which were hung colorful glass floats and starfish, etc. On either side were hung 2 large painted Tikis carved from coconut husks (that had contained the coconuts themselves.) It was quite a sight, and I recall how much fun I had putting it all together.
