  • Thank you

  • It makes me totally pure... (yes, I was an orff-child) :)

  • wow!

    belle exécution!

    Bravo!

  • wow kinda weird but i liked it

  • Glad you liked it. I've been creating this kind of music with children and adults for several years now, and this is still my favorite performance, and the one I go back to with my students to show them the fusion of music and movement.

  • how nice what grade do u teach students or what age group?............u have a great talent........u teach ppl stuff like that ......that is what i wanna do!

  • This is one of the best amateur quality music postings I've ever seen. Only about 5% of the professional quality music out here is this stimulating. So grateful for the post!

  • amazing! I just finished my Level 3 (certified baby!!). I posted our performances as well. We are the SMU crew.

  • Fantastic!!!

  • I do, big Orff fan .We started with Schulwerk training in the Highlands 5 years ago...just started loading up vids...check us out!

  • Thank you so much!

  • Glad you liked it. We had fun doing it.

  • I'm re-watching this after a year or so. I was hoping maybe you would be able to recall what the spoken peice is at the end. Is it from a volume?

  • Rhythmische Ubung #78 with improvised nonsense words.

  • Thanks so much!

  • Thank you very much

  • I like very much this video, I want to play this in my school, Somebody Know which the song that appears ?? It's possible to have the score ???

    thank you very muh

    awesome !!

  • The music comes from "Spielbuch fur Xylophon Vol. 2 #20" Published by Schott. Available at West Music, among other places. The percussion accompaniment was improvised during class.

  • This is wonderful! I have my masters in Kodaly, but am interested in getting my Orff certification, and have heard great things about UST. Now I know why! Thanks for sharing!

  • I am in the Orff program at UST. The instructors are wonderful. Jo Ella Hug, current president of AOSA, is the recorder instructor, Jacque Schrader is the movement instructor, Michael Chandler, district rep is a levels teacher, as is Beth Nelson, Jay Broeker, and Cindy Hall. All top notch instructors, and many of them use Kodaly concepts in their teaching, so you would find it a friendly environment. Look at the videos from this year, too, posted under my sig.

  • The National Orff conference will be in San Jose in November, 2007. There is a SF bay chapter. Check the aosa for more info, email me at schteeple-at-usfamily-dot-net if you can't get in.

  • This is awesome! Great job! We had ORFF at my school as a kid (through 8th grade) and I loved it... we had performances all over the Dallas area. I would love to start doing it again... is this something that is offered nationwide for adults? I am in the SF Bay Area.

  • I forgot to ask at which school this course was taught, and who the teachers were. I am looking for a place to take my level 3 next year, and this is a great promotion.

  • This was at University of St. Thomas, in St. Paul, MN. We have a great cohort. Instructors for Level 3 will be Jay Broeker, Jo Ella Hug, Michael Chandler, Jacquie Schrader.

  • This is beautiful. I am glad you posted it up here. I wish my Level 2 class had done a performance like this. You all look so perfessional :)

  • Orff presentation performed by adults includes recorder, instruments, dance, singing, chanting. Lots of body work done with chanting - very exciting ot watch and hear.

    Nice Job

  • Thanks. We were really proud of our work. I'm glad you liked it.
