haha no but seriously, i've been told it's something named "electro-swing" which may or may not be correct.

  • And suddenly the commercial makes sense...

Although, that's a bit heavy on the naughty side than nice...

  • I think this song is saying you can dance it doesnt matter were your from

  • I think this song is saying you can dance it doesnt matter were your frome

  • i think this song is saying no matter where your from you can dance. if you watched that commercial its fits the song too !

  • this song is cute and i dont care about the lyrics its just humour you guys... every one made a racist comment before

  • Swing music--yes, it's there. But "booty?" Not one mention of the words butt, buttocks, behinds, rears, rear-ends, asses, or even the actual word in the title... What was Parov Stelar thinking when he titled this song? I like it, but the title kinda irritates me.

  • You just can't help but bob your head and tap your hand on something to the beat!

  • Finally a video with the lyrics! Damn, a lil racist tho? Haha

  • @julesy6

Considering that the lyrics date from 1938, it's understandable.

  • Greatsong!

  • Parov Stelar recorded this song from taking samples of Lil Hardin Armstrong's "Orient Swing." This version has at least "Big Drums" added plus bass but pretty much kept the essence of the song intact.
