I do like the story. Mary S is a long time favourite of mine. But there are some odd bits. She never really seems like a grieving widow. I don't expect hysteria or endless crying. But, Real grief shows. She goes finally to the letterbox as though nothing much had happened that day. And when he returns ...WHERE'S THE KISS? They hug several times, faces always go to the side. Who has bad breath I ponder? At such a moment creatures that we are there is the need to go lip to lip.
that poor guy is like everyone in this economy today. everybodys selling things but noones buying it. Theres lots I've tried to unload but no takers...sad.
I love this movie. I've always hated her jacket though!

her husband coming back to life i think is very symbolic. if u believe in christmas, you can get gifts even if they are not wrapped.
