  • This is a great video ok, instructor Wong is a beast ok, very nice EDC Mr. Wong... Exactly. :D

  • LOL what a psycho!

  • @DethroG3I3R LOL you're an idiot!

  • When the the Zombie Apocalypse begins this man will be ready!

  • @CaptainFeltcher heh heh, he sure will! If you haven't seen it yet, check out the update vid I uploaded a couple weeks ago.

  • he has a really good argument for partially serrated knives, good vid

  • @hemmingway28 He does. Thanks for watching.

  • Do not fuck with this man. I would never expect someone as unassuming as him would be as armed as he is if I saw him walking down the street. And I'm not just saying that because he is Asian. You never expect someone as laid back and well spoken as he is to be packing heat, haha.

  • @MixedMartialFartist stay tuned for an update vid - got to see Mr. Wong again last week, and he agreed to review his EDC changes from last year.

  • @drzmanproject I am really looking forward to that review!

  • @prof585 it's up now! Let me know if you have trouble finding it.

  • @drzmanproject Yes yes I just found, thanks for the heads up!

  • Awesome this guy is well prepared. He carries more mags for is edc than a uniform police officer lol

  • Nice stuff. Looks like he has the strong and weak side covered. I like the idea of one knife for utilitarian and one for SD. More stuff then I would ever want to haul around, but, to each his own. Nice two in one idea on the mag pouch. The fixed blade would be illegal in OH I believe, but I’m sure there could be a way to insert a folder(opened) in a similar fashion..

  • He didn't go into it in this video but, as a last-resort backup, he's also got another even smaller Asian man hidden on him that knows karate.

  • Very nice EDC indeed!

  • Not to bash the guy, but I'm just wondering where this guy lives that he feels the need (or desire) to carry that much firepower. Would think one could make more practical use of storage space. IMO his EDC is kinda like having 6 different fire extinguishers in your kitchen. There is such a thing as "over-prepared".

On the flipside, I'd feel sorry for the idiot who tries to mug this guy.

  • @irishScott2 It might be less of where he lives, and more of what he does for a living that shapes his carry habits. His job involves being ready to respond to criminal activity.

  • excellent EDC

  • hahahaah random gunshots in the background.....WIN

  • Great vid. He seems like a real down to earth guy too. No show boating, or arrogance. Just great data, and some valid points. Thanks for sharing DrZ

  • @SnakeStrike77 Yes, Phil and all the instructors were very down to earth and generous with their knowledge, usually explaining how and why they got to their opinions.

  • Do not try to mug this guy!

  • That Dale Fricke custom holster with the TDI/mag is pretty cool!

  • I, like Phil, am a big believer in redundancy. I was going through the Canada-US border a while back, & was called in for a random search. It happens a lot. Through their search, the immigration officers found, well, more than one knife on me & in the car. They asked me, "Why would you possibly want to carry more than one knife?" The kid couldn't have been more than 21. Apparently, carrying more than one blade makes you a suspicious character here in Canada.

    Mission accomplished Phil!!

  • that knife is really cool.

  • I was just thinking about that Endura Glock tool! If I get an Endura, I'd want one of those for sure. Good insights on serrated vs. plain edge, too. He's got a great system, laid out quite well.

  • Great video, always nice to see how other people set up there EDC's. This video is very interesting because he is applying the theory of one is none and two is one.

  • That's redundant. I was waiting for his third arm to show up.

  • Very interesting. Serrated blades help to rip and tear through clothing as well. Especially helps in areas/seasons where there are many layers of clothing being worn. I do like his philosophy on the whole combo edge thing. I like combo edges, but don't feel strongly one way or the other.

  • @Cr0cket20 I'd been leaning toward a combo blade, but Beachhead's Recon1 just lost some teeth on green bamboo. Trying to touch up serrations is a pain, even with my Lansky serration sharpener. So for Christmas I think I'm going to ask for an Endura FFG with no serrations.

  • some serious redundancy there. I do like the knife/ back up mag system. Ver nice Zman. Thanks for bringing this to us.

  • very nice system

  • Very well thought out system, two thumbs up! However it doesn't allow much access to the weapons while seated, but I bet he has weapons in his cars.

  • Great insight to EDC thanks for sharing.

  • ★★★★★

  • + 1 for the Lonewolf/Spyderco ... I love mine!

  • great info on the combo edge on knives, i had never thought of it that way.. then the TDI blade and his spare mag holster ideas... thank you once again Drz and Mr.Wong this whole series of vids has been full of data points. Take care Drz, u rock!
