  • oh i get it hold the rice because he's asian hahaha oh how delightfully racist

  • @HavokOnePointZero wise can be (& usually is) funny, kinda like DOGMA (Jay & Silent Bob, Chris Rock, Ben Affleck, Matt Damon, George Carlin, etc.)

Sometimes you have to choose between them, tho

  • i want to order MIAGO DO PIZZA with Kobra Kai sausages with Elisabeth Shue pizza Sauce with Daniel san Mozarella Cheese please

  • Hi I'm Pat Morita, and after a long day of training a scrawny New Jersey pussy to kill with his bare hands, I like to relax with a Pizza Hut Pizza.

  • @LegionnaireEtrangere lol omg, that made my day man : D

  • I'm more squicked by him talking while eating than by the "rice" comment. Shame on you, Morita-sama...

  • Hahaha rip pat morita you rocked.

  • When he was doing standup in the 60s and 70s, he was known as "The Hip Nip"...one of his jokes was that his eyes weren't slanted: he was squinting from the bright lights in the clubs :)

  • how did I know when he said this is was my kid favorite eating form he was going to say rice

  • Pizza Hut: The food of great karate masters?

  • He spoke pretty good english.

  • @NyghtRyder229

Of course he did. He was born and raised in California.

  • @NyghtRyder229 Lol, you know, he was ONLY fluent in English. xD

  • R.I.P.Pat Morita

  • no way.. rice ftw

  • I miss you Uncle Pat....may god bless you..

  • at the end it says hold the rice .....LOL (thats fuckin racist)

why? cause all chinese people eat rice ? yeah i know its true...

but is still fuckin racist... XD

  • @YoUrMoMsRiGhThErE Pat Morita is of Japanese descent, not Chinese. lol

  • @diehardtrix chinese, korean,japan, filipino, all same shit...whats the difference ?

  • @YoUrMoMsRiGhThErE

I think you miss the point. One of Morita's strong points as a comedian in the 60s and 70s was that he was able to play around with stereotypes in a way that lessened their racist power, kind of like how Russell Peters does in his standup today.

  • Wow, cool to hear his regular voice!

  • uhmmm, rice

  • YOU NO WANT PIZZA HUT. YOU WANT HOTPOC.. Oh... oh that's very racist.

  • rice!?!?

  • I was hoping he'd sound more like he did in Karate Kid.

  • HOLD THE RICE, GET IT BECAUSE HE'S ASIAN, HOOO HOO HOOOOOOO.

  • its arnold from happy days

  • around 1985 or 1986 he also did a commercial for tofu. the commercial was in english, but i only saw it on japanese tv.

  • Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, Pat Morita. May he rest in peace!!!!!!

  • "...uh rice" hahaha

  • hey, its mr. meogi, eating pizza. funny

  • I wonder if Pat Morita prefers (preferred?) being a 'funny old man' or a 'wise old man'?

  • @mythmanjay

Possibly... or maybe that's the kind of roles he got offered. Either way, he did that a lot. The first movie I ever "saw" (so to speak) him in was "Mulan."

  • @mythmanjay

Interesting question. I think what made Miyagi work so well as a character was that he was both extremely wise but also very funny as well. The main reason he was able to bring that character to life so well was because of all the years he was doing comedy.

  • @mythmanjay He was a stand up comedian first.

  • @Speegs23 as most good actors were.

  • I'd feed my kids ketchup

  • Daniel-san, Eat at Pizza hut.

  • @DrPhilMusic what is a san

  • @12345678901112137651 Westerners would say "Mr. Larusso" Japanese people would say "daniel-San" - san is their way of saying mister.

  • @DrPhilMusic and whats a kun

  • nice
