Dick was my 1st cousin. Nicest man I ever met . Growing up listening to him , I thought I heard every song he recorded, then alng comes" The Iceman". Great song ..... Thanks Cuz

Bernie Johnson played guitar on this song. It was recorded in Brewer at Commercial Ventures and Dick's son Rick played drums, Bill Hanson on bass. This was actually a single, released on Audem Records and was never on any album. Dick recorded this song because so many of the GIs in Korea loved this song when Dick sang it on Armed Forces Radio as "The Rice Paddy Ranger."
