Even though his voice was obviously worn out and this song is hard as hell to sing sometimes, I think Eddie did an amazing job here. Some of the changes he makes from the album version are just genius. He's a true musician.

okey. it's sucks a bit. eddie (is it the lead singer right?) is old. but he still tries to do something. and that counts. metallica's lead singer j.hetfield is also old and tired but he stills kicks ass, because the fans like Metallica and they don't care how he sings. they just want to hear Metallica. That's the main thing.

We must face it, that all the good metal/grunge/rock/blues singers are getting old. and their singing voice is getting very bad.

Sure he doesn't have the voice he did when he was in his twenties but it is still damn good. And what Vedder has lost in vocals he has more than made up for in songwriting skills. Matt Cameron is a fantastic drummer and is a perfect fit for the band in their current form.
