there is a problem with my n900 while taking pictures and recording videos ! i have to restart the phone every time to click an image .. once i capture it , it stays fixed to that image and does not go back to the camera mode ! also there is no sign of the captured image in any of the folders !! as for the video , the recording does not even start in video mode,, just as i click on rec button .. it getrs stuck , hangs ! please help as i really need to sort this out !!
Yesterday i was asking about the price of the N900, Nokia said it was already been sold out for only P12,800 !! (Philippines) they said the N900 is gonna be faced out.
i don't know why the price drops from P 20, 000+ to P 12, 800! and gonna be faced out. Is there any deflection/problem on the N900 ??
why dont you dont you stop talking shit about cell phones which nobody has the money to buy now on days...... Stop filming useless and good for nothing videos piece of crap .... You should invest the time you wasted filming this video on helping poor kids on the street dick head

haha bill nye!! the science guy! it was in USA too! hey, quick question. do you recommend watching anyone for US products/phone info like you do for phoneage?
and thanks so much for all these videos. phoneage, etc.
You should have tried pre-ordering one in the US. They took the order, delayed their launch twice, then canceled all the pre-orders, made everyone re-order, delayed a 3rd time, and finally shipped them overnight right during the Thanksgiving holiday.
Plus, the e-mails with tracking numbers clogged their e-mail, so most people didn't get the notice until 1 or 2am (EST), that their phone had shipped the day before (before 4pm) and would arrive that day before 3pm.
ya, i found an at&t store that is an authorized nokia dealer, and with a two year contract, i can get it for $450(US). BTW, nokia had it on sale this weekend for $570, but the regular price is $650
The only problem is that the N900 does not have the AT&T 3G frequency support here in the U.S. The N900 has the T-Mobile 3G frequency. So if you do order it and use it with AT&T, you'll have slower internet.
i can only assume that this is Nokia's way of making a larger pressence in the U.S. market, which would make sense. Competition is tough here, and if they can sell more devices, for less money here, they can walk away with more money in the long-run. Rumor from my source is that the N900 might come to a carrier here. Either way, Nokia has to do something. Don't forget taxes...we pay a lot less here as well.
Oh...and this was typed on my N900 on the full YouTube that works amazingly well.
@LinuxRaymaker: Don't be fooled, it's not NOKIA! It's how everyhing is priced! My Graphics Card cost me £170, at the time the exact same stuff was $170 in the US. And that goes to everything else too!

Everything is more expensive in the UK

I live in the UK and it's not just the UK...
The whole Europe is that expensive unfortunately...
It's more like: everything is cheaper in the US than most of the world!
And that's why I go mental when I hear you guys in the US complaining about how expensive this and that is!

I'm not from the US though,

You are correct s4rc4stic1. Nokia are behaving as if 500 dolars/british pounds/euros are the SAME THING!
We are so being ripped off here in the UK.
