I saw her this past summer and her voice absolutely floored me. I knew she would be great bc of hits like love is a battlefield and heartbreaker, but I am a lot younger than most of her followers and did not know her less commercialized music. Her voice is incredible and even though I'm not from her generation, she definitely NEEDS to be in the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame. It's crazy that neither she nor Linda Ronstadt have been inducted!

Pat is by far the best female rock performer. The stuff that passes for rock music today is missing the elusive quality that Pat so effortlessly and naturally projected on stage.

Even though I am a year older than her, I have just recently discovered the unique quality in Pat's music and performance style. There was a lot of other things going on in my life during the 80's that put my focus elsewhere..but now, I have come to appreciate Pat for who she is..Simply put....the Queen of Rock!!

Just saw her last night in Boston on the 30th anniversary tour - she was amazing. Sang this song this way, beautifully. @ ThePaperCreator - she had all her grit back on this tour, probably to acknowledge where she's come from. Belted out her best with energy. Even at this age Pat's unparalleled singing would break the Britneys, Jordans and other newcomers in two.

This live version is absolutely stellar. Pat really shows her wide vocal range in this performance. When she starts the song she shows us the pure and almost "angel" like aspect of her voice and then transitions to her more smoky and rock and roll voice. Her husband, Neil, the guitarist, is great too. It's really amazing they have been married since the early 80s and still work together so great.
