my baby lovebird just freezes up and listens. and walks slowly towards the computer to listen :) but he doesnt sing along. I try to let him listen how to sing. becauce I dont know how to whisle. I only make kissing noises and he tryes to copy those, and he allwast sounds so funny :P

me nd my mom gt 4 baby lovebirds from my boyfriend since his father is a breeder there a month old now cuz he had gotten them wen they were about 2 mayb 3 weeks old nad hand feed them. 1 of our baby lovebirds died a week ago nd we bought a 4 month old female in her spot. is there any reason y the older 1 picks on the younger 1s??? o.O

Are you sure she's a girl? I find that my female lovebird Buckee (the one on the video) is much more chatty than my male lovebird Rexy. Rexy is much quieter but sweeter than Buckee. :)

They usually have a wider stance than the males. I have 2 gay lovebirds and 2 straight ones. The 2 gay ones are males and they love to talk.

my love bird was singing and churping when she heard this.........btw.....she is 7 weeks old and the first few days we got her she was perfect>.......dancing singing every ting.....but now for some reason she is scared to death of us when we try to pick her up she bites us......and when u go near it......any tips???

How old is your bird now? she's probably just going through maturity. Unfortunately that's how most female lovebirds are. Buckee was also very sweet in the beginning and now she bites hard. We just let her come out of the cage on her own and when she wants special treats she comes to us and we don't her give any reason to bite us which means no more petting. Give your bird some millet by hand and leave the cage door open so she can come out on her own. Good luck!

This is a wonderful video can you make more and longer. I let my lovebirds out in the morning to fly. I call it birdie recess and they know it's time when I start playing your video.  They get all excited and start chirping back when they hear the familiar chirping.

As long as it is what you say it is, feel free to use it. It's important that people do research on different types of parrots before they get one. Lovebirds are quite noisy, although not nearly as bad as cockatoos. On the other hand, parrotlets aren't loud, but are quite chatty.

Thank you! :) And I agree, people rly should think more about getting exspecially as large parrot as a cockatoo - too many times they're found to change homes..

And about my video, it's also showing pictures of neglected parrots and mentioning proper food, company and toys that birds need. Its one of my first videos I have done, but before I can upload it on youtube and possibly put it on a finnish parrot society's page, Im waiting for others accept using their birds' voice also :)
