Social Security is one big Ponzi scheme. The only difference between SS and Bernie Madoff is this; the govt runs SS. It will cost big $, but the government should sell off assets it has no business owning and purchase annuities to pay off Grandpa/Grandma and simply tell everyone else, plan your own retirement. That is what I did. Do you think all that money you and your employer paid into SS is sitting in some account? Ha! People like Carson spent it on Vietnam and Iraq. End Social Security!!
