Growth for a writer is important especially since it often means more money.

How far you want to go as a freelancer depends on you. If you like writing copy as opposed to articles and it works for you financially, fine. However, if you want to be more than a copywriter, you have to get moving.

My advice; Never do one kind of writing. Always have your fingers in other bowls. Write copy AND articles. That way you can make an easier transition.
