How can i open certain mp3s on audition 3? For some reason it says its an unsupported file type and to convert into pcm raw data. Kind of sucks because i cant load over half of my mp3s.

Hey, I am having some problems with Adobe Audition and I was wondering if you knew what was causing them.

Alright so, I can record fine using my ASIO driver. And I have my output driver set as Realtech or whatever it may be, but when I try to listen to what i've recorded it fails to work... I have to change all my settings to be able to hear it, then when I can, the recording doesnt work. Which is not good, because I want to be able to listen to something then record over it. ty fr th hlp

heey i got adobe audition 1.5 and if i want to record my audio everything works good but if i recorder let me say '' testing'' in track 1 and i record the same word'' testing'' in track 2 i hear a small delay and thats contineus in track 3 and 4 but im sayin always the same. okay next one when i put an audio track in track 1 ( not record) and i record in track 2 the audio track i v putted in track 1 u hear that same delay whats is wrong can u help me thank youu :(:(

@LittleBaggy well 2 things. 1) No performance is ever the same so even if u think it's the same it's not and u'll hear the difference. 2) What your hearing is probably a result of ya buffer being a bit 2 big. Try lowering the buffer rate then it should b fine

You can get it as a free trial from Adobe but it'll only be good for 30 days. You might be able to get a key gen for it, but watch out for virus laced websites.

got a question...ok i am recording a song....i got the track done on 1 track mixed down...my problem is during recording...it seems as though the computer freezes a lil while im trying to record my vocals...how can i fix this....sucks when u try to record & the music pauses for a slit second like the computer is trying to catch up....

It all comes down to the power of your processor and if its not up to par.. well.. long story short, if your computer is lagging when you are doing audio related stuff it means your computer can't receive and send the info fast enough and you are probably going to need a new computer. The new Intel technology is known to be good for audio recording.. just do some research .. there's companies who build computers specifically designed for audio.

Okay, I work with this program everyday at work...I'm a producer in radio...and this was another instance where everyone does things differently and I must correct one thing for you...don't hard limit unless you lower the volume FIRST!...otherwise you'll get that distortion we just heard...first use the 'normalize' feature (and use your eyes, make the sound wave bold but not ever above and below the screen...example: type in 88% or 110% or whatever makes it look 'full')THEN 'hard limit'.

Adobe Audition is too expensive. There are many programs which have the same features + MIDI + VST + .*sf2 files etc. and are cheaper. Adobe Audition is not complicated at all hahahaha
