Drug dealers openly dealing outside the station, Prostitutes openly touting for business. BUT since the money was spent and the new station at Kings Cross St Pancras developed it has now disappeared...well moved to another area. Outside the tourist areas (Hell even in the tourist areas) London once you look out for it, has a tough, rough element to it.

From saturday at 8pm to sunday at 5am we had 16 separate shooting incidents in nyc where people got hit with bullets. The other weekend 5 innocent people got shot on a sunny day at a beach in brooklyn and an innocent 16 year old girl died and the same day someone shot up a subway train in queens and 5 more people got shot at a party in the bx. South of Manhattan is Brooklyn. In Brooklyn there are too many neighborhoods to mention where people just disappear if they don't show up as a corpse. East of them all is Queens. Queens is huge and easy to get lost in. Easy to get shot in. South is Staten Island. Isolated and almost off the grid for crime.

Sorry Cedric...London is worse. I lived in the Kings Cross area before all the development. Kings Cross was as rough as anywhere. Drug dealers openly dealing outside the station, Prostitutes openly touting for business. BUT since the money was spent and the new station at Kings Cross St Pancras developed it has now disappeared...well moved to another area. Outside the tourist areas (Hell even in the tourist areas) London once you look out for it, has a tough, rough element to it.

From saturday at 8pm to sunday at 5am we had 16 separate shooting incidents in nyc where people got hit with bullets. The other weekend 5 innocent people got shot on a sunny day at a beach in brooklyn and an innocent 16 year old girl died and the same day someone shot up a subway train in queens and 5 more people got shot at a party in the bx. real ghetto is in Rio. 16 vehicles were set on fire in less than 12 hours in Rio de janeiro. the gang attacks have been going on since last night. last night a big group of heavily armed men blocked Rio's main motorway and stole money from all the drivers. one guy was shot in the head for no reason. this morning two policemen got shot in the head and other guy is in hospital half dead. That on this video isn´t ghetto at all.

People who live in these area's cannot afford to buy house in the uk as they are too expensive.
The governments of the past have created these problems. They have controlled the house market by regulations and then priced people out.

@aclarindo those aren't ghettos. ghettos are an area in a city with a specific ethnic group being more prevalent in these areas, normally accompanied by poverty in big contrast to the majority of the population of the city who are much richer...in places like india, nigeria, s africa, brazil, mexico, kenya, zambia, guatemala, colombia, russia, venezuela, iraq, somalia, democratic republic of congo, pakistan and afghanistan the majority are sitting in the slums and they are same race as the rich

@Haterzcatchmywratch u are wrong. brazilian army sent troops to some slums in Rio de Janeiro in december 2010. for more than two years the police didn't come near these slums. this slums are dangerous and controled by extremely violent gangs. even the police don't go there. now the brazilian army has been trying to control these areas.
