BTW, the irony of Chris Simon telling anyone that something "isn't right" is ridiculous. If he wanted it so badly, why not go with Janssen, the Devils top scrapper, who was on the ice at the time? Isles just bitter because Rupp basically bent Drew Fata over and made him his bitch. Give Fata credit for standing up to a bigger guy though.

Mike Rupp might = pussy, but Drew Fata looked like a little cunt. Why didn't Simon go at Janssen, who was out there? I agree, bitch moves on both sides. I'll say again, I respect Fata standing up to a guy bigger than he is. I'll never respect Chris Simon again though, that was some really fucking shameful shit that he pulled. I respected him as a Nordique as a tough motherfucker, but, much as I hate the Rangers, that shit on Hollweg was cowardly and cringeworthy. His latest move was worse.

I will say this, Aaron Asham is one guy I'm glad the Devils picked up this season. Might not be here after the trade deadline, but he was one guy on the Isles who came to play every night. Never going to be a pure scorer, but he's always been a guy you want on your team.

Fata is like 6'1"- 210 lbs

Rupp is what? 6'5" 240 lbs? How the hell is Fata supposed to beat him? I may be wrong but Asham might of scrapped with janssen earlier in the game? Asham and Janssen had some good fights the past few years

Rupp is 6'5, so he definitely had the reach advantage, but he's not 240, maybe 220 lbs. Can't remember if Asham and Janssen fought that game, but they definitely had their share of good and pretty even scraps. Janssen got traded to the Blues at the deadline, I'm not happy about that, but he wasn't going to play in NJ under Sutter, so at least he went to his hometown to a team where he will likely see some ice time. Glad the Devils didn't trade Asham, who is tough as nails, as you said.
