im was very dissapointed playing the god of war 3 demo and i strongly suggest this as a very attractive alternative. EA simply knows what they are doing and besides army of 2 (although some may beg to differ) all their recent games were terrific.

Man... after reading a little bit about the Divine Comedy, I really want to own this game. It'd be cool if there was a two-player mode storyline in which Virgil's the 2nd character (since he was Dante's guide all throughout the book. He never left his side until he got to paradise). They should've also included Julius Caesar in Limbo... and stuck with the description of a normal landscape and castle. But dang, I like this view of Limbo more. :D

God of War was strictly about Greek mythology. Inferno has a multi-cultural feel. Also, God of War happens in ancient Greece, while Inferno was written in the 1300's. And you do start with Death's Scythe and the Holy Cross as weaponry. You're in Hell to begin with to save your love Beatrice from Satan! Jesus...
