Cause theyre not easy to hear for an unexperienced ear and muting distorted strings in such a low point creates an almost similar sound that could fool you while tabbing it out so you forget that there are palm mutes...but I know he played it wrong as you said he forgot the palm mute patterns.

Ok, for what it is, it's okay. It's a beginner amp. It's a fucking SS modeler. It's full of shit tone. Hey guys, watch me play on INSANE! It has so much damn compression and saturation that even a shitty guitar player will sound okay. Go to GC and watch the salesmen push this thing on noobs. It is NOT a wonderful fucking amp. It does not even pass as an amp. It's a shit can full of bees, but whatever. When you play through a real amp, you will understand what I am saying.

I think you are playing wrong the intro, I have seen a lot of covers of this song in youtube and I think they are missing to play two times the sixth and fifth string before they go to the second fret. you can listen to the record and it doesnt start like a simple hammer on.

Try playing the song without the music to show your skills on another level. Because it sounds good. i'm gonna try the slide instead of the hammer on because it almost sounds perfect but the hammer ons and pull offs are my specialty so it might be kinda hard for me to slide there for a little while.
