Boris Graffiti Tutorial For Beginners with Pinnacle Studio 12 Ultimate

@pmest It has been forever since I have loaded Pinnacle Studio 12...I am currently running Pinnacle Studio 15. I think there might be a second disc that comes with the program...but I am not sure. That program may be on the second disc.

I have a question, can you tell me why when I edit a video on Pinnacle studio 12, and make a movie the image quality becomes of much lower quality than the original? and is there any way I can fix that? thanks!

@COVERSbyCHEMA There are two kinds of HD 720 and HD 1080...please make sure you are not shooting HD 720 and then trying to export it HD 1080...that could be a possible issue.

hey man u seem to know ur way around thi sprogram... so let me ask u this.... how do u slow down clips... when i try to use the effect called "speed"... but it always changes my clip that ive cropped

@CincoCeroCinco Are you cropping the video and then adding a speed effect to it?If the crop is screwing it up, then I would render out the video with the speed effect on it. Bring it back into the timeline and then add the crop to it. This would be a good work around for your problem.

I have a few questions. Besides those transitions, can you move text like ending credits? And if you can, do you need the Plus edition of Pinnacle Studio 12 in order to make them.

Did you upgrade to Studio 14 yet? There is a great new plug-in called Shine that comes with the Pinnacle Studio Ultimate Collection. The Shine plug-in makes it really easy to bring light rays from behind the text.

I find Boris Graffiti, and open it, but none of the effects are there, just the type text box, where are the effects?

Is your program pointing to the correct folder? C Drive/Program Files/ Boris FX?

If you look at the video above at 1:05 you will see the box has the location of the effects.

You might have an issue with your Graphics Card...make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics card and if that does not fix I would check with Tech Support!

There are a lot of programs that will let you make cool title animations the problem is that most of them are very expensive. You might want to look at the upgrade to Studio 12 Ultimate because it comes with Boris Grafitti built into it. Boris alone is like 300 bucks and the upgrade is a lot cheaper then that.

Boris Graffiti comes with Pinnacle Studio 12 Ultimate...it is a professional program for making animated text. You have already watched the Basic Tutorial which lets you create animated text quickly. I would recommend you watch the tutorial for Boris Graffiti Advanced this will explain a little more on what you can do with the program.

I would love to help you but I need a little more explanation on your question.  If you are talking about black in your video clip. You can use the razor tool to cut out the black from the clip and then re-export the clip without the black video. And once you have your new clip you can discard the original file.

Make sure that you go into the video tool box. It is located in the middle of the screen above the timeline and below the album on the left side of the screen. The video tool box is the camera.  Click on that and it will take you to your video tools...then click on the icon that resembles a plug,this takes you to the video plug-ins. And you will see Boris Graffiti as one of the plug-ins. Make sure that you have a piece of video in the timeline and apply the Boris Effect to it. Cheers,Anthony
