I am reading a book on demographics & it says pretty much the same thing. If the population was not that big to begin with, I could understand this, but with as many people as there are, if the younger set started having lots of kids, it seems they could turn it around, but that does not seem feasible due to expenses & life styles. Not a problem. Oil is going to run out and they'll either progress, or go back to killing each other ala bronze age. We're also headed to a food crisis. Fresh water in many regions is going to get used up faster than it is replenished and crops won't bear enough to support people. Starvation is great at population control, especially in undeveloped nations. Besides, Europe isn't all that civilized. They'll eventually get pissed off and go on a pogrom.

Oil is going to run out one day. The problem is that there isn't going to be enough alternative energies developed because there is no money to do it if we don't leverage the resources in our country that we have available right now. This is the problem with the progressive view. It will cost money to develop technologies, and they have to allow for the use of those we have to increase the amount of money that can be used to find the new alternative energies, plus using others we have.

I think the call to action is more to learn and teach our children as much as we can about our cultures and keep them as rich with culture as possible. All the while encouraging acceptance and tolerance. But I think most importantly enrich our children with culture and teach them the values & rights we Americans Courageously Fight to Defend. Teach the youth (the future) so that they know how to carry on after we are gone.

I love Arabic & Persian people, & many aspects of the cultures. I've had many Arabic or Persian friends & a few boyfriends--all Muslim. I'd NEVER condemn or wish harm to anyone for being Arabic or Persian or "non white." It's nice to know that while I would welcome & embrace a muslim as a friend, he would be only too happy to wipe the smile off my face with a slit to the throat...I speak not of the ones I know, or this video, but to the ones commenting to this post.
