actually i DID and DO notice, especially live and since ive been playing deathmetal explicitly on drums. you can easily tell on albums because the feet are inconsisent on 2 foot blasting. most people dont compensate for even punch on 2 foot blasting unless you got the guys from severe torture who stomp there shit out and its not meant to be fast but consistent with the technicallity of the songs. you should talk for yourself and not on my experiences which you know nothing about.
