Nice video, it really touched me, thank god your on here, I'm a male with a family also, and its not just pain you go through, emotional pain has been the challenge for me, because you can't do anything. Matt you walked just like me, the scariest part was when you went to stand up with the tennis racket and your right leg was straight out. Thats what I have too, I can't bend over without putting my left leg straight out behind me. Its a struggle everyday, so thankyou again
Negative comments should come from people that have had the surgery. I had it. I have my life back now. I had both hips done. Words cant express the freedom I now have, not to mention no pain.
i cant believe you have hospitals advertising in the USA. He should have had a hip resurfacing not a total hip he is only in his 40's in 10 or so years he will need a revision total hip. The MIS system is not very successful and not many surgeons are using it
OMG! I can't believe you guys actually advertise yourself on YouTube in regards to the Sharp Experience. Sharp Experience! YEAH Right! People get your facts straight. Working for the company isn't all that it's cracked up to be.
Don't get me wrong, I salute the HC workers at Sharp who perform an awesome job, otherwise, there isn't a more hostile place to work than the medical field.
What an inspiring story! I am 45 and have lived with hip pain for 5 years and have had to give up many activities that I enjoyed doing for so many years. Your story makes me realize I need to do surgery now rather than later. Thanks for sharing and your children are lovely!
I am an athlete, or well was. I ride horses competitivelly. I have been this bad for 4 years now. Did PT for for 5 months then had a hip arthroscopy to no success :)
Wow...You're so young? I don't want to pry, but were you an athlete or injured? I'll understand if you don't want to say...I'm 57 and am considering this after 6 yrs of pain and loss of ability to be acitve...God Bless!
"focus9111"; How did the hip replacement go? did you get metal on metal? Just curious. If you'd share your experience. Thank you, and I hope youre new hips last 100+ years!!:)
Last year, I had a total (left) hip replacement - at 45-years old; the BEST thing that I ever did; am now 100% pain free, and amazed at how quickly I recovered (with several weeks of physical therapy); Thank you for posting
hey all I am so glad i did the operation. I just had a second one. And I don't work for sharp.
