  • The dude washing his face with that huge flame 1:56-2:01....

  • And foolish athiests say God does not exist?? ahhaha so is this possible then?? oh u can scientifically disprove it? lol. brainwashed population. Jesus died for our sins and he left proof of his existance and ppl still dont believe in him. foolish ones will pay in the end.

  • I'm Roman Catholic and I love orthodoxs

  • I wish I can visit this holy place at list once in my life.

  • Coptic orthodox! :)

  • Yep; that's fire. What does it have to do with the resurrection of Jesus?

  • @KetevaniSak Thank you so much to your reply to my romeo and juliet response. I too am a Christian. Not Orthodox, but a Christian that believes they are responsible for their conduct and their nouth, and everything that comes out of it, Please don't argue and fight. God is love!! If we cannot live with one another here we will never live with one another there. There is good and bad in every group, we are all tempted and some of the best fall

we need to keep our eyes on him..:xo

  • Hey brothers!

Please stop suggesting opinios and check the truth here:

    Scientific proof

    Thnx

  • whatta buncha freaks!!!

  • Michael Kalopoulos, author & historian of religion, dipped 3 candles in white phosphorus. The candles spontaneously ignited after approximately 20 min due to the self-ignition properties of white phosphorus when in contact with air. If phosphorus is dissolved in an appropriate organic solvent, self-ignition is delayed until the solvent has almost completely evaporated. Repeated experiments showed that the ignition can be delayed for half an hour or more, depending on the density of the solution

  • @JoKoKilla

hahaha Michael Kalopoulos? what did you expect from a freemason? This guy is a total joke. He is a fucking mason, these people are anti-religion, new world order, freaks...

  • @greekcypriot004

I heard your a freemason yourself and a full time freak as well, mr holy fire. lol!

  • @JoKoKilla

how can I be a freemason, you douche? I am an orthodox christian.....learn your facts before you dare open your mouth, you dont even know the basics.

  • @greekcypriot004

Douche, eh? That's very orthodox christian of you. I know you're a freemason because I can see it in your eyes and smell it in your toes. Silly little orthodox. Do me a favor and go jump in a cauldron of holy flame.

  • @JoKoKilla Dude Im atheist (although I had orthodox religion classes in school), and Im gonna destroy your theory on how they ignite the candles. White phosphorus invented in early 19th century but wasnt widely used before the 20-th century. The tradition has been going on (recorded) since the 11-th century. Im not saying there is another way of self-igniting candles. Im just saying thats not it.

  • @lolpauve Allow me to destroy your response...

Kalopoulos also points out that knowledge of chemical reactions of this nature was well known in ancient times, quoting Strabo, who states "In Babylon there are two kinds of naphtha springs, a white and a black. The white naphtha is the one that ignites with fire. He further states that phosphorus was used by Chaldean magicians in the early fifth century BC, and by the ancient Greeks. Sucka.

  • @JoKoKilla So what you are saying that he is the only historian who believed that the orthodox used white phosforus ca 1000 years before anyone else, recordedly, did. That itself would be a miracle.

P.S. Sorry if my English isint so good, im from a country notoriously known for not speaking any foreign languages.

  • @lolpauve

I never said that, now you're making assumptions. Take a moment and reread the comment so you actually know how to respond next time.

  • I cannot believe all the stupid comments made on here. Just because God Himself chose the orthodox Church to be blessed with the Holy Fire each year, it doesn't mean that the Orthodox is confirmed to be the true Faith by God. It just shows that God chooses the Orthodox faith alone for this special occasion...and the Latin church is not the one to hold this special title/ritual. So please just leave it at that. God makes these discretion, but does not change the fact that Saint Peter is head.

  • @lloydbaltazar The orthodox churches did not alter the rituals set down by the apostles who preached to them.

The Western churches, did. This is why it is the Orthodox Churches who are the most accurate form of Christianity.

"But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed." Galatians 1:8

  • @lloydbaltazar

God "himself" chose the orthodox church? You're right tons of stupid comments on THIS page! It's raging!!!!!

  • дай бог что бы в это воскресенье он сошел, и тогда ни какого 2012 не будет!!!!!

  • What a farce. I went there last week, and I will never go back again. The Greek Orthodox control access to both the site of the nativity and the tomb of Jesus, and they run both sites like an exclusive Hollywood club. If they happen to be having mass when you show up you are shit outta luck. And the priests and bouncers are there throwing their weight around, barking at the faithful. They have absolutely no respect for the teachings of Jesus whatsoever. There is nothing sacred or holy about that

  • place. It is a sham and a mockery. I am usually at odds with conservative Christians, and evangelists, but the Brittish Evangelists got it right with the Garden Tomb. It is the other possible site of the crucifixion and burial of Christ. No one really knows where it happened, but at this location, they treat God's people and God's word with significantly more respect. They manage to let everyone see the tomb without having to bark at anyone, and all in a beutiful setting.

  • I'm sorry, but you do not build a church on a site of global significance, and then give priority to a minority group when EVERYONE wants to see the birthplace and final resting place of Christ, you just don't. They should be ashamed of themselves, and this video makes me so sad. What a circus, what an unholy circus.

  • I am an Orthodox Christian and believe I will be till the day I leave this place. Yet I never really like Holy Fire. Can someone please explain its importance? It looks more like vanity than anything else, and that's assuming its real and not a trick

  • @ChristianEastern I completely agree

  • its small , simple , effective... biclighter . com

its truly amazing how stupid a person can be if he REALLY WANT to believe something...

  • It is the faith, once and forever delivered by Christ to his apostles. It is the faith once and forever delivered, unchanging. It is the faith ince and forever delivered that will deliver you to God's never ending grace.

  • DUDE.. ITS A.. ITS A FUCKING ZOMBIE!!

  • I have been here and ill tell u something, i have never seen anything like it...>AND i was inside. The whole place lights with candles on their own!!!!

  • i'm lucky because i'm greek christian orthodox!!!!

  • @kostasvip1 i'm lucky because am serbian orthodox :)) God Bless you my Orthodox brother!

  • If you are a Mason, please, tell me the truth about the Freemasons. Some people say that they are Devil worshipers, but I'm not sure in it. PLEASE enlighten me!

  • for all the hating so called "christians" on this video, trying to show how divine orthodoxy is and how unholy catholicism is, how about you check YOUR OWN MIRACLE OF SOUFANIEH? eh? Jesus calls for their unity, appears to a Catholic wif of an Orthodox man, but the miracle is claimed by the orthodox church! how about you check it and shut the hell up.... so much for love and forgiveness!

  • oh here's an idea, HOW ABOUT HE TAKES A CAMERA IN WITH HIM TO THE TOMB, SO WE CAN ACTUALLY SEE IF HE LIGHTS IT, OR HOWEVER OTHER WAY IT GETS LIGHTED??

  • What these people are doing with those candles can be done with any candle. Your hands can withstand the heat of the fire for a brief amount of time if you don't stop moving your hands like some people are doing in this video.

If they really want to convince people that the "Holy Fire" is not hot, they should stick those candles right upto their face and rub their eyeballs with them. Then I would believe.

  • @GamerJL85 Really? I'd like to see you stick your hand in some fire, move it around, and see if you scream.

  • One last observation : This miracle, as mentioned in history archives , took place during otoman domination and we all know (especially the romanian people) how much love Allah's folowers had for Christians. How would the ortodox bribe the autorities then?

  • Light 33 candles and put it under your chin then see what happens. If you don't know I'll tell you. Your upper neck and face up to your nose will turn black because of the skin's contact with the flame and you'll probably manage to keep it 3 seconds before you scream in pain.

Can you imagine the scars left by a 20 cm flame on your face?

  • Can somebody explain to me what is going on here? Is this a miraculous phenomena? What is it? Thank you.

  • Can't believe people still go for this crap. Some materials combust at relatively low temperatures, thus placing your hand over candle fire, for a brief period of time, is not much of a wonder. There is also evidence of increased tolerance to temperatures under hypnosis. Spontaneity is also somewhat abstract and relative. There are, for example, volatile substances that can react to static electricity, especially if the air is very humid.

  • @grundik1 But this still doesn't explain how there is not burns on people...

  • @grundik1 oh yeah, human skin is not combustible at all and everybody there is being hypnotised. Right.

  • people please don't mix science and faith! if you belive in the son of God you can do anything. when i said anything it doesn't include a bad thing, but goood things. that what we Orthodox belive and do. again..don't confuse urself by mixing science and faith. those are two different things.

  • @zethiopia St Basil proved that the Faith and Science can go hand by hand, but atheistic scientists want us to believe that they are 2 different things,so that they have an argument for their blasfemy

  • stick it belllow youir beard or hand for five minutes, and then tell me that doesnt burn..

your are religious lunatics that taken divorce from sanity and reason.

  • @amet1980 Better yet why don't you?

  • destroy the dome, it is the adbomination that causes desolation. has not God always been against mecca? and its temple is built upon the holy of holly's

destroy the dome!!! the false heathen god and the unholy prophet mohammed desicrate the holy mount. end islam, then peace will come

  • @destroythedome get some respect for other faiths. Jesus never taught hatred for other religions.

  • ok they come out from a room with torches where no 1 can inspect or see them?...that kinda sounds fake and gay to me anyone else??? xD...besides that goes for all religions...

  • @Kanawanu This miracle has been going on since the early 4th century. It always occurs at the SAME TIME, SAME DAY, AND SAME PLACE every year. No other miracle is known to occur so regularly and so steadily over time. No other miracle is known to occur so regularly and so steadily over time. It happens in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, the holiest place on earth, where Christ was crucified, entombed, and where He finally rose from the dead. The fire does not burn either.

  • @TheJackRIOT your missing my point or ignoring it...there is NO miracle in getting out of the room which is CLOSED for inspection with the burning torch if i were to do that you would assume i had lid it on fire yet you dont assume that on the preacher,ok yes im an atheist and i dont belive in that as you do,but dont you atleast have a childs curiosity on how something works, reather then saying oh its a miracle...no its not its a hoax as everything else...

  • @Kanawanu Call it a hoax, and believe that it is false, but thats your thoughts. Your denying it because you dont want to believe it, that simple. And like before, this miracle has been going on since the 4th century. There were no lighters back then, there was no possible way to ignite the light. Many people have tried to deceive the miracle and claim it as false, but no one has been able to. Sometimes he candles that the people hold even light by themsleves. The fire doesnt burn you. MIRACLE

  • @TheJackRIOT well i havent seen any1 hold the fire longer then 5 seconds, fuck, longer then 3 seconds on themselves to burn them trust me long enough and burns will apear, besides not having a lighter, doesnt mean he doesnt have other ways of lighting it...and as far as 4th century...lol why not from the 33 AD when jesus was killed,oh yes there wasnt a church bulit untill the 4.and besides...people have been making fire for qutie some time like 100000 years,im convinced they could make fire in 300AD

  • @Kanawanu Besides, in case you didnt know, The Archbishop enters the tomb by himself. To prove that he does not light it, every year Turks and Muslims check him for lighter, etc.

  • @TheJackRIOT maybe he stuck it up his *** and they didnt check there, this is bs.

  • @Kanawanu visit this link

    orthodoxinfo . com / general / holyfire.aspx

to see what the Patriarch, who receives the Holy Fire, says about it.

  • This looks so exciting and awesome!

  • Christ is Risen!!!! Truly He is Risen!

  • Charlatans. Jesus has nothing to do with this.

  • It is so weird that in this world there are myriads of miraculous happenings experienced by people individually and abroad, generally, and still there are those who refute it. Truly Christ was right when it says in the Scriptures, "..yet even if one were raised from the dead they would not believe." Also, "And their eyes were darkened so that they would not believe..." They will believe what supports their lifestyle. If it is hedonism or pride, then they will oppose Christ. Kyrie eleison!

  • Read the >>>1 Kings 18:18-46 ! It's about Holy Fire, that Elijah showed to all faithless people. In olden days it was made a sacrifice to God from animals! But after a birth of the Christ this victim is brought in the spirit of. A clear spiritual victim give us Holy Fire to burn down sins !

  • Here's a little memo for all the atheists watching this: WHY THE HELL ARE YOU WATCHING THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE??!!!! Do you guys like bashing the true faith that much that you would waste your freaking time to comment on this. Get your stupid asses to jerusalem and see for your self. Honestly you atheists always start these stupid battles always saying there is a scientific explination. This is a freaking MIRACLE and last time I checked GOD IS NOT BOUND BY THE LAWS OF SCIENCE LIKE HUMANS ARE!

  • Glory Be To God Alone (+)

  • I went there in 2004

It was too tiring but it worth it

For those that do not believe this how do you explain the blue lightnings on the wall?? ?\

P.S There is something like a blue flash It's not a flash It's lightings!!

  • Satan all the time says against God: Every thing you Do, IT'S a FAKE !

    That's why he is Satan!

  • read this please... and consider

holyfire,org/eng/velich,htm (just replace the comas with a dot)

  • The crazy thing about this is the fact that the pope is searched by israel police before entering. The pope says a special prayer passed on to him and something amazing happens. They say a haze appears over the stone believed to be where Jesus was layed and a fire in a pillar is formed. The pope then lights it and passes onto the Armenians & the Coptic Orthodox. People have amazing photos of fire outside at times over the believers. The Fire does not burn the skin/hair.

  • Ορθόδοξη Εκκλησία - Православная Церковь - Православна црква!!!

  • ORTHODOXY IS THE TRUE FAITH!!!!!!!!!!

Preaslavit e Dumnezeu in veci vecilor !!

  • wow is that really true?

i cant believe it. does that fire burns?

it must have some scientific explanation

  • read this please... it might answer some of your doubts

holyfire,org/eng/velich,htm (just replace the comas with the dot)

  • i hope to see it one day

  • Jesus appeared to Thomas as well, and he believed. Jesus told Thomas, "Because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are those who have not seen, and yet have believed." (John 20:29)

i havent been blessed to see or visit the holy land, and yet i believe it 100% that this is infact God's mercy being poured down unto us on the glorious day of his resurrection

  • i dont know why

  • Ogień gorejący dla wiernych miością płonący nigdy nieparzący ,nigdy nie gasnący rozświetla dusze przygasłe ożywia dusze martwe niedowiarków zgasłe . Ten ogień to Boska miłość ,

miłość ,która rozświetla nasze dusze umacnia naszą wiarę aby na nowo odnaleźć w nas dzieci Boże.

  • and why is this pathetic ?

this is the miracle of God,a flame that won't burn any orthodox christian....

  • @SdRetard I will believe that when I see both an orthodox christian and normal person stand in the same holy fire adn only one of them burns

  • .......do you know what happend to the musilm when they tried to take the Holy Fire from Orthodox?

  • @SdRetard do you know what happened when:

In 1238, Pope Gregory IX denounced the Holy Fire as a fraud.

I can find no scietific evidence that tests this holy fire and therefore dismiss it as a fraud, if a magitian showed me a very good magic trick, i cant explain how it happened but that doesnt mean it was magic

  • hehe....Pope..who cares about the Pope,he is not even truly Christian...he is a Mason....and he is working for anti-christ,as all chatolic church....By chatolic church i mean cardinals, and so on,not the chatolic christian, ordinary people....

BTW,ofcourse that he will say that it is a fraud, because he wanted more mony for him,and more power,he would say anything just to weaken Orthodox ..I mean God made Orthodox, but man made all oder religion(islam,chatolic,protestant....)

    Watch"cuda pravoslavlja

  • @SdRetard Oh w/e I cba to argue with each of the thousand sects of christianity seperately

  • cccc.....God speed.....you will need it......

  • @SdRetard wow and now come the threats of hell, a threat doesnt work if I dont believe in it. if you dont agree with me im going to come to your house and torture you for a couple of years, then Im going to nuke you... have i won the argument yet?? ffs keep your god speed I dont want some idiot praying for me to protect me from a god that they worship

  • I am not threating you.....I am just waring you....you can torture me,or nuke me,you can kill my body.but you can't kill my spirit....Personaly,i don't giva a fuck if you are going to thrust me or not,I am only trying to help you for your own good.....

  • Btw,orthodox christian have never torture somebody because he wasn't orthodox.....orthodox faith is spreading with love, not with violence....

  • @SdRetard Do you believe in hell? YES/NO

Do you believe that I as an athiest will go to hell if I died this second? YES/NO

Do you believe in hell I will be eternally tortured? YES/NO

    if no what will happen?

  • @SdRetard You just stated one of the best Orthodox comments. I never hear people talk about how our faith spread.

  • @ukichan4ever hehe,thanks ;)

  • @SdRetard Thats right. And Orthodox Christians dont have to provoke suffering in their lives in order to become saints. Sainthood is not the result of self harm, but the result of living a noble, ascitic life. The Catholics give Christianity a bad reputation with these extreme behaviors.

  • Comment removed

  • @SdRetard Orthodox priests seem like some of the least friendly people on the planet to me, and the ones in the Holy Land were especially Surly.

  • @SdRetard

    Well said.

Also, Orthodox Christians were more often under the boot of anti-Christian oppressors (Muslim Turks, Communists)

But please change your name. "Retard" is low class term for someone with mental disabilities

  • @SdRetard true, so true :)

  • @SdRetard Tell that to the greek catholics in Romania who had been stripped of their churches and holy sites by the communists and for the benefit of the Romanian Orthodox Church who benefited a lot from the forced conversions to orthodoxy and refused to give back the churches and holy places to the greek catholics.

Orthodoxy has allways allied with the political movments that gave them the most material benefits no matter the consequences for the believers. EG alliance with the communists.

  • @ZergAteu hahaha, you say that communists worked for orthodox church ? hahhah.....man,look in russia and serbia what have coms do to the churc.

  • @SdRetard No, I am saying the Romaninan Orthodox Church (ROC) had an alliance with the Romanian Communist Party (RCP)and agreed together to disown the greek-catholics (GC). This is well documented and sell known. The GC were outlawed and the ROC got all their churches, cemetaries and holy places. The ROC was NOT outlawed because it officially agreed to colaborate with the commies, while the GC opposed the communists from top to botom, officially.

  • @SdRetard After '89 the ROC opposed returning the churches and properties to the GC AND, more importantly, opposed the declassification of the files of the clerics that collaborated with the commies calling the proposal to declassify ALL collaborator files an attack on the ROC.

I never said anything about Serbia or Russia.

  • i think man made all religions and god no one.

anyway, youre right: the pope is a mason

  • @SdRetard You speak lies and make assumptions which cannot be substantiated by Scripture. I would consider the message of Jesus before I called all believing Christians except your little sect (which is rapidly declining in numbers) the only church God recognizes.

  • @OneHolyTrinity He's telling the truth. Catholics derive from pagans, nothing to do with real Christian values. The only true church of Jesus was the Byzantine church. The Catholics are responsible for wrecking the church establishment and declaring war against anyone who isnt going their ways. You are in denial if you think not.

  • @florencelovme Your church agreed with the RCC on every doctrine until a few centuries before the official split. You guys were iconoclasts at first, in fact. So give me that crap that you've got on up on Rome. (even though both of you ignore Scripture to fit man-made tradition in opposition to Christ's commands.

  • @OneHolyTrinity both churches are corrupted - Ive come to the conclusion that I respect Christianity but not the churches that represent it. Its the only way to stay close to its true value and purpose.

  • @OneHolyTrinity

Lol, Christian doctrine isn't finite. We learn about God by living every day as he would. We understand him more and more. To simply assert that we know all his teachings and miracles from the Bible and ONLY the Bible is utter nonsense...

Besides the fact, you seem to know very little about the very Bible that you profess to ADHERE to.

  • @OneHolyTrinity

Interpretation of the Bible is one of the most IMPORTANT aspects of Christianity.

God used parables and metaphors in order to make us think LOGICALLY and COHERENTLY about life and creation. He didn't give us PURPOSE just so we could BLINDLY follow some RIGIDLY set path...He wants us to FIND the path...

Things are not as SIMPLE as you attempt to make them out to be...Besides, I would like for you to give some examples on HOW the Orthodox Church has distorted scripture.

  • @OneHolyTrinity

Study the scriptures yourself hypocrit. You prove how invalid your religion is by how you behave. It's a fact that the Catholics betrayed the Byzantines in order to steal their wealth and criple their empire. The Catholics also waged rutheless wars in the name of Christianity...Byzantium did not.

Our "sad little sect" was just anounced as the national religion of RUSSIA, along with being very popular in Greece, Ethiopia and much of Eastern Europe.

  • @OneHolyTrinity

Why is it that the Holy Fire only comes down for the Orthodox Patriarch? Think about that, as well as how our religion is mostly unknown (even though we encompass entire nations).

The devil doesn't want you to know about us. I don't think I have ever heard a story about a radical Orthodox Christian blowing up an abortion clinic...Have you?

There are an estimated 300 million Orthodox Christians world wide, with over 80 million in Russia alone...So why haven't we heard?

  • @NavySealsOperative Since this phony fire has nothing to do with the Bible, it's a falsehood that increases faith in God at best, a work of devil magic at worst.

Your church adds to and takes away from Scripture and will have to deal with that when Christ returns. Study the Scripture and seek the truth and you'll see.

  • @OneHolyTrinity

Lol, remember what God attested to in the Bible?...A house divided against itself cannot stand...Why on earth would the devil want to BRING people to Jesus?

He wants them to believe in "magic" and other nonsense.

Just because the Holly Fire isn't depicted in the bible doesn't mean it isn't real. Many miracles are performed AGES past Jesus' ascent into heaven, yet we are not informed of those in the bible either...

  • @OneHolyTrinity

Lol, the Orthodox Church has NEVER tampered with the holly scripture...I think you need to stop pulling stuff out of your butt...

God punished the Catholics for the Crusades and will continue to give retribution against the Protestants and all other Christian denominations who have contorted his religion.

It was the Catholics who disseminated "penance" papers for cannibalistic crusaders after the war if they paid money to the church...How CHRISTIAN and astounding...

  • @OneHolyTrinity

Buddy, I think you should do some of your own research of biblical scripture as you fail to understand the fundamental teachings of Jesus as well as his apostles...

  • @OneHolyTrinity

Don't be a hypocrite. Actually go and read the bible, understand God's teachings and stop attempting to discredit one of His most holly miracles (a sin against the Holly Spirit, which is considered one of the UNFORGIVABLE sins) and actually realize that Orthodoxy has PRESERVED Christianity...Not distorted it like the pedophile, crusading Catholics or the radical, extremist and often times FASCIST Protestants.

How many variations of Protestants and Evangelicals are there?

  • @OneHolyTrinity

    P.S. Great job contradicting yourself.

I think you are too afraid to admit that this miracle is divine, because that would prove that your own faith is FALSE.

Why would a miracle be BOTH the work of the devil AND help to bring people to Jesus? You don't seem to know which to choose...And how could ONE alternative NOT be beneficial or MORE Christian than the OTHER?

You seem to assert that BRINGING people to Christ is NOT God's intention OR a GOOD thing...

  • Who cares what some leader of a cult based on blood shed and hearsay thinks. I am sure he just said that in between touching young boys.

  • @cortezawwris That is a ridiculous claim, yes the pope has covered up many incidences but you are being prejudice on a large scale and I don't even care which side you are arguing for, because Im not totally sure, pope Gregory IX had no such allegations.

  • Come on he's roman and belong to that heretic cult which has a history of touching young boys.

  • @cortezawwris not true, the notority the church now has is relatively recent, Pope gregory was centuries ago. All religions are cults and you are just throwing around dirt, it has no bearing on the argument, my point is, a person who ran this event denounced it. There is no evidence for it at all, if there is point me to an accurately recorded report preferably with video

  • I had a vision of the Lord Yeshua last night. The air opened (like a tunnel in the air), and from the opening He appeared. He was in a white long robe which was girded along His waist. He had a long face, with a long chin/beard, long brown hair, very tall/strong, I just knew it was Him. I could not say anything, I was just looking at Him. I could feel His Spirit, His goodness and His power. Holy of holiness, Blessed is His name and the Father, king of the universe. Amen

  • Praise God for that testimony!

  • اعوذ بالله اعوذ بالله اعوذ بالله يقديسون النار اعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم

  • @reckless0norfwest If you don't like that, why watching it from the first place? Grow up please :)

  • god fair

  • Despite not being crazy about holy fire, I respect that many non-Christian witnesses (first the Muslim Turks, now the Jewish Israelis) have born testimony to it.

Maybe I am just a cynic.

  • lucky you :) thanks for posting

  • A nut house.

  • This is to religious.. God is not of religion.. Beware of false christ's and false prophet in the last days. Read the word of God let no man desceive you with these things.. Let them go on their Knees and cry out to God. Even pray for these people to come to Jesus.. Being TRUE children of God.

  • I am an Orthodox Christian who is not part crazy about the Holy Fire. Yet the truth taught by the Orthodox church is why I joined

  • Oh..did I say that?

  • If you believe in sins, then you are sinning for believing this bullshit, its more likely that it is you who will be serving an eternity in hell, you gullible prick, than say...your neighbor who gave his life to teaching children about observation and analysis.

  • It's a reminder of the infinite love of God for us, of His pain and suffering upon the cross to save us, because in our days we are so interested in the material things, in the money...

WE MUST NOT FORGET THE HIGH PRICE OF OUR SALVATION THAT OUR LORD JESUS PAY WITH HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD.

  • Even in todays Modern believe, having faith is said to help. Weather your going to do a marathon or going in for cancer surgury, or asking your classmate out on a dinner date. Confidence / faith helps.

  • miracles is never proven .This is their bigest mistery. God let you bilieve Him or not.He does not want you to believe Him with the force of a miracle . But if you believe him ,he shows His present with those miracles.

It up to you to believe it. I see His miracle every day...

  • theres always a scientific explanation

  • A friend of mine met a monk from Syria who read the prayers prior to the appearance of the fire. He said the rock starts to glow blue and then the candle lights. Sometimes it only takes a few minutes, and sometimes it takes an hour or more.

  • Why nobody filmed it, especialy these days when cameras are common and performant?

  • Xristos Anesti!

  • Alithos anesti!

  • the flame has different colours every year it's not the same and why don't you ask why it doesn't appear to the catholic, i'll tell u why cause they are sinners

  • We are ALL sinners.

  • oh really? and all the miracles attributed to catholic nuns and priests who became saints are false?

  • holy LNG!!!

  • If you don't want to belive, it's your choice, but when the Time comes, don't say that you didn't have any proof. My friend was there twice, and 2 years ago, and when the moment came, his candles lit up by themselves, and that happens to a lot of people... CHRIST HAS RISEN!

  • what do you say on that: The fire is not burn! Cant it be so? iven if it is cose of chemik reaktion..

  • The white phosphorous theory is old. It fails to explain why the flame doesn't burn, and it fails to explain how people bring their own candles that still light spontaneously. I have yet to see both of those refuted.

Besides, white phosphorous is toxic, especially when in a room filled with a few hundred people. Why don't scientists just take one of the patriarch's candles and examine it for white phosphorous?

  • @n8n8n8n8n8n8n8n8n8n8 I bet they will find whats behind this.Stop fighting science because it debunks you.Fuck the holy spirit

  • @Sezmonz Arguing against the atheistic attempts at debunking this miracle is not the same as arguing against science. Atheism and science are not the same thing, no matter how hard you might try to mutilate their definitions.

  • @n8n8n8n8n8n8n8n8n8n8 You are right !!! Science and Christianity can be equal, but atheists want to make it anequal...They are getting stupid by their hatred...stupid nazis

  • May God forgive you and cleanse you of your darkness

  • 1.Holy Fire show up from the 4th century A.D..Back then these tricks were unknown

2.Jewish Israelian policemen are body checking the priest officialy every year before he enters the Holy Tomb,to confirm its not a trixk

3.People put their arms to the Holy Fire, and for the first 33 minutes it doesn't burn

  • Christ Has Risen!

  • who says what? I am Catholic, I respect Orthodox, and please do respect mine... I have a lot of Orthodox friends.. they do not say anything like that... and I do not say anything like that.... maybe you'll get the point

  • I think that is similar to the Blessing of Fire in my Catholic background... but there is no sudden appearance, it burns and it is normal fire... but we see Christ in that light as it is blessed and it represents the light which dispels the darkness of sin.

I think some orthodox will agree.

  • Catholics are fake belivers.

  • Comment removed

  • I am a Catholic, but I still believe in the Holy Fire, as one of my buddies knew one who inspected the Edicule and the Church.... no fire at all!!!!

so I think if you say damn it, please do try to light a pure beeswax candle, no chemicals at all, under the darkness of a very small room.

  • my typical ignorant freckled ugly brittish friend....

tens of fanatical muslims and many atheists could verify the tomb before that procession, and nobody discovered nothing even "strange" there, and no catholic cardinal or muslim ayatollah denied that....

how could you talk about that wonder?

  • I feel for your ignorance and pray for your forgiveness.
