I know ostriches can't fly. Chickens can fly, but hardly ever do - I think the peacock is like the chicken in this regard. But they are more interesting to watch than chickens, for sure!!! God is wonderful!!!!!

Lmao, I love how people automatically assume that if a bird spends most of its time on the ground, it is incapable of flight. Peacocks are more than capable of flight; in fact there are only 3 galliformes (aka FOWL) that CAN'T fly; and yes, domestic chickens CAN FLY. Domestic turkeys can't, for they are too fat and derp.

my sister actually had a peacock land on her roof! Don't ask me how. They just heard a big bang on the roof, went out to investigate and there it was! Weird though considering they lived in a built up area. Have no idea where it came from...
