  • in case you didnt know. in the NBA there is no such thing as travel...

  • it is 3 step but it is travel too

  • thought its gonna be a lebron movie when i saw the title:)

  • in case u didnt know in the nba they let people dunk with 3 steps gosh people learn the rules geez...

  • @seanieboy000 it was 4 steps

  • since when was lebron #21 on the Jazz?

  • its really four

  • he must have watched to much lebron

  • Comment removed

  • have you ever seen a travel called on a dunk ?

  • the first 2 steps were part of the motion in dribbling... i don't see any problem with this video

  • @chox3n1 If you dnt see a problem then u have a dick in yo ass, remove it first lol

  • I didn't notice until slow motion..

  • werd WWWWTTTTFFFFFFF

  • it was 3 steps BUT still a travel, if they called him for every travel he did he would have so manny less points

  • thats 3 steps bcuz the first step when he touches the ball with two hands is called a gather step

  • @cassasify maybe cause this is a video and we don't have the view that the ref did? When a player holds the ball the way he did that far away he should then look at his feet he messed up

  • Thaddeous Young of the Sixers lol. Go Philly!!!

  • yo philly can do wat evr da hell they want.

  • what is this matrix song called?

  • @MrJoedanmin it's Enigma Variations by Elgar, not from the matrix....

  • THey be straight bounding up the court.

  • @codymags the NBA do not get three steps bra!..their allowed 2 and a half..2 steps then a shot/layup atempt

  • No in the NBA they get 3 and that was only 3 therfore not a travel.

  • I didnt know lebron played for philly

  • The song is clubbed to death (kurayamio variation) rob dougan.

  • dat was fuckin 4 steps

  • why did you slow it down so much? maybe because its hard to see. refs are humans too

  • 3 steps

  • 3 steps lol

  • That's three steps and referee didn't have good angle and they probably liked move.

  • Travel...........end of story.

  • THAT WAS 3 YOU FUCKING IDIOT.

omfg, a ref wouldn't call that travel when hes running with legs that wide open? look at it again instead of hating on lebron, its three, he stepped 1st, dribbled then did it 3 more times. lebron is skilled and knows how not to travel and still make great plays.

    stupid haters

  • @brian27610 You do realize Lebron James isn't playing in this game?

  • @brian27610 <---youtube douche bag of the day

  • @Leggosheenswag youtube douche bag of the day? are you some fucking child? grow up man

  • @brian27610 oh and that's not lebron james

  • 3!

  • refrees never call travelling in the nba anymore, especially if the player makes the basket

  • I actually thought that I was going in a Lebron James clip here (-_-)

  • Everybody can see it in slow motion but using usual speed it's impossible to notice that. He was making first to steps so fast that he managed to do 2 steps just during catching the ball, therefore the refferee couldn't whistle travelling.

  • What's the song name?

  • it was three and a half

  • I counted 3 steps, but yeah, def. a travel.

  • 2 maybe 3 steps depending on when you say he ended his dribble. - Who cares, everyone knows travels don't get called in the NBA.

  • Lebron should know about that

  • 3.5 steps, if never seen such a ridiculous exageration :)

  • that was 2 steps he just held the ball off in his hand ? yall are dumb if you believe it ...js.

  • whats the name of this song

  • @Mrfluffywolf13 clubbed to death

  • Song?

  • 3 steps not 4. However, it is STILL a travel.

  • @federaikkonerer I was about to say the same thing.

  • @federaikkonerer if its super slow motion.. you can see that he actually hold the ball then 1/5 second he step and that counts. and its 4 steps. no argument its a travel thou

  • WTF

  • lebron traveled

  • How come it doesnt say James on the back?

  • Song ??

  • IT was 3

  • 3 steps, 20 steps, still travel

  • @dassix1 That wasn't 3, it was 4.

  • @FireStormBaller The point I was trying to make is that it doesn't matter anything 3 or more is a travel

  • @dassix1 The point I was trying to make is that it is 4 step, for example, if he had taken 1 step less, it would still be a travel.

  • Yeah that was 3.

  • @DankityChronChron 3 ok, but still travel

  • @JoaoKINGS 4.

  • @DankityChronChron No, that was 4.

  • Somebody told me u get 3 steps in the nba. Is that true???

  • @Superwtfisgoinon Untrue. But the refs do allow a gather step, the step you make while picking up your dribble, which is sometimes mistakenly counted as a step(like the poster of this video does here)

  • song????

  • well everybody is saying 3 ... I guess I'll say it was 3..... yeah , definitely it was 3...

  • 3 steps...

  • yeah its 3..

  • Its 3

  • Could be wrong, but it looked like 3 to me and they let players get away with that in the NBA.

  • I think It was a 3...

  • exactly...4 steps=No Traveling?

  • what song is that

  • 3 steps!!

  • if you watch close enough. most players take 3 steps and get away with it

  • he took an arrow to the knee

  • the reason they didnt call travel is because its a gather for a layup

i call it the fake pass layup. and its legal.

  • @nerf4555 not legal. He went right-left-right while in possession. Doesn't matter what he was doing with the ball. James Naismith is spinning in his grave.

  • @TomKaren1994 oh. i watched again and noticed he didnt stop running when he faked the pass. the original gather you take a hopstep right before it THEN layup

    one step/hopstep/layup

    or

fake right or left while moving/go towards basket with your second step/layup.

this guy- faked while running. he aint rondo :P (go to 2k12 and look at rondo's layup package. you'll see what im talking about there)

    thanks for pointing that out

  • Sooooo many LeBreon comments running through my mind

  • 3 steps, TRAVEL

  • he took 3 steps...that's legal in the NBA

  • It`s 3 steps..

  • Wow. Refs blow!

  • He only took three steps and a few years ago they changed it from two to three in theNBA

  • @KikiKayla1990, not sure if serious or just really, really stupid.

  • @turisas1234 Why don't you go look it up ?

P.S. If you wanna rag on someone know what you're talking about most people on here know that they changed the rule.

    Still feel smart?

  • @KikiKayla1990, I have looked it up.

"We have not changed the traveling rule, nor how we enforce the rule," - Stu Jackson, executive vice president of basketball operations.

The only thing that was changed was the definition of traveling. It's a two-step off the dribble rule still. 3 steps? Rofl. Really? and then you turn around and try to refute common knowledge?

  • @KikiKayla1990 are you fcking kidding me?3steps is a travel

  • only 3 step not four

  • It was a travel, but he only took two steps. The first foot down doesn't count because he's still in the process of landing from a jump

  • FUCK YOU

  • it was indeed a travel

  • its only 3 steps when the ball is returning to the hand its not part of the steps but still a travel

  • LOL he takes the first step outside the 3 point line and doesn't dribble from then on...who was doing the game? tim donaghy?

  • is this the song of fast and the furious 1 ending

  • Ur only allowed two steps

  • @tHeReGgAeBaBy Really? No way!

  • lmfao he thought he was niicee too

  • technically u have to a 3 second count to take your dribbles??

  • Does anyone give a fuck ... a lot of players travel

  • filmed wit a pickle

  • Dat wuznt traveling u FOOL! Dat wuz OBVIOUSLY 3 steps.

  • He walked acrossed the damn earth with those big ass steps! lol!

  • 4steps ppl

  • the nba...where no traveling gets called

  • Definatel three steps

  • it 3 steps

  • 3 steps. why do people always count the first step after the dribble?????!!! doesnt count !

  • This is the NBA yo .... travelling dosent exist.

  • Wait, that doesn't look like Lebron...

  • 3 steps

  • The song is called "Clubbed To Death" by Rob Dougan...it's on the soundtrack of the Matrix.

  • whats this song called

  • 3 steps

  • song?

  • the first step is a gather step so it does not count

  • thought this was gonna be a lebron vid...

  • If the ref called every travel the game of basketball would be very boring indeed

  • i think it was 3 not 4, but either way, yes definitely a travel.

  • @cureloms you can take 3 steps in the nba.so if you thought it was 3 instead of 4 why do you think it was deff a foul?

  • @keegan342 you are only allowed 2 steps. what do you mean by foul?

  • @cureloms it was 3

  • @hitlows ?? that's what I said in my comment. you are talking to the wrong person.

  • @cureloms Nope, I counted it, it was 4. Nice try but thumbs down.

  • @FireStormBaller the "gather" step when the ball is returning to your hand doesn't count as a step. that shouldn't be counted. either way, i think we both agree it's a travel.

  • @cureloms Yes, it does. If he did 1 step less, it would still be traveling.

  • @FireStormBaller definitely 3...he doesn't give up his dribble till after the first step you are counting, meaning the next three warrant the travel, but the fourth step shouldn't be held against him

  • @mtownbaseball15 Defintely 4. He does give up his dribble till after the first step I am counting, meaning the next 4 warrant the travel, but 4 step should be held against him.

  • Omg haters so what he took an extra step smd

  • @allstarmvp100 yes were haters because the game of basketball today sucks. Every play can be turned into a foul. If NBA players and refs just read the rule book then it would all be good.

  • Only in youtube people lose the ability to count

  • who cares, that was still awesome

  • 3 steps? frst one fake behind the back,

    the other 2 layup?

  • united airlines gave that dude free extra miles for that.

it's what he calls his "american express travelers check" dunk.

  • 3 steps, still travel

  • @azujevas no it isn't

  • great motion= no travelling

  • The NBA: Where traveling happens (and greedy selfish players)

  • 3steps

  • 1.) u cant include the step that was taken when he picked the ball up which leaves him with only 3 steps 2.) in the nba ur allowed to take 3 steps on a fast break.. i've seen it done multiple times by multiple players n it was never called against them

  • If u look closely Lebron traveled

  • it's a journey

  • He took 3 steps then jumped for the dunk

  • it's 3 steps

  • In my opinion... picking up the ball while stepping is half a step, so in my opinion, you can take 2 and a half steps in basketball without traveling... that was 3 and a half steps... therefore... travel. I think LeBron pays off the refs each game he doesn't want to get called for fouls or travels, but that's just me drinking the haterade.

  • I don't think the refs can watch it in super slow mo. Pussy

  • you just counted the left step when he was catching the ball off the dribble. the first step you should count is the right step after that. that was what i saw from your slow mo.

  • its not a travel dumb idiots, you can bounce the ball as much as you want and don't touch it to reach the other side, you still can dribble. the ball just cannot be above the height of your shoulders. he just did a bounce ahead, picked it with another hand, finish with a double step. you just cannot have the ball on hand for more than 2 steps! please idiots! get it right!

  • NBA rule - if you finish with a dunk, you can have all the steps you want. Crowd pleasing basketball. This is 3 steps and is definitely a travel. This is why NBA players suck in Europe or FIBA tournaments, because we stick to the rules.

  • nah its a travel you idiot

  • WOW you obviously don't play basketball.

  • stfu with the gather step you can only have take 2 steps the way it is and alwyas be i thought there was 3 at first but you can look and see that he act like he dribble but didnt taking 4 steps

  • classic NBA

  • it was 3

  • It was 3 steps but not a travel because you have an extra step to gather.

  • by the dramatic song u would think it's a buzzer beater...

  • funny video because of the song

  • 3 steps is more than enough for traveling call...

this is one of the reasons why I don't watch NBA at all... it's not about sport, it's about dunks and highlights...

  • 2step is good... but 3 step or more is traveling..

  • this play is totally legal and im not trying to troll.

the first step doesn't start until both feet have hit the ground after gaining control of the ball, this is called the gather step which doesn't actually count as a step. after the gather step you are then aloud to take 2 steps to the hoop. this is one of the most common misunderstandings of traveling

  • 3 steps is a travel... 1st step starts right after he stops dibbling he took 4 steps. title is correct

  • @BoomBamV3 you dont know what your talking about read my comment above please and dont comment back on it until u read the rule on steps

  • @MadMunchies5 Man IDC about no damn gather step are you trying to tell me that this isnt a travel? You admitted that he took four steps (without dribbling) BUT two of them didnt count? Please dont comment back until you get better glasses.

  • its three steps...

    regardless, 3 is still travelling.

  • 3 steps

  • Traveling is 2 steps not 3.

  • it is four steps, idiots

  • @commenter911 its not 4 steps. the "first step" that u think is a step he is still in the middle of the dribble.then the "second step" is accually a gather step. the next 2 steps are the real steps

  • one proof that he travelled is that the guy guarding him was "faked" into blocking the shot when he saw the 3rd step coming... 3-step gather? u can't even do that in nba live or any 2k...
