I think it's different on the situation. If there is 5 dps and 3 heals, if you kill one healer, then it will be a lot harder to keep up another 1, then when he dies it will be 5 dps and 1 heals, then you can just split dps, 2 dps can focus the healer so he can't do much and heal, and then the dps will start dying too cause that one healer can't do much, letting healers free cast isn't too great since they won't have to force their strong, expensive heals.

Isn't it the same thing when dps die? They come back with full hp and maybe even more help and CDS ..
