$140 with a 24 moth warranty? Do another video after 10 years of hard use with the Fenix. Im sure that SureFire stopped making these lights long ago and just selling inventory. What would the point of having sf's warranty program and making updated lights every time a minor improvement comes along. It would be a logistical nightmare to provide the service they offer for what would be 1000+ models. Use your sf until its done. Replace with an updated model. No consumerism involved
I love the 2nd amendment as well. Police are usually too far away to wait on them to defend you though. I don't encourage violence either, but strongly encourage lawful self-defense for the common man/woman :) I carry 98% of the places I go. I sleep a few nights a week with a gun near me, just gotta guess which nights ;)
I have never seen a light quite like the TK35 IN my opinion. I believe it is a true 820 lumens. I have a light rated at 200, 500, and 820. While all three are bright, there is a noticable difference in the three. Huge difference.
Hell yeah, I have a 2D MagLED that's survived a TON of abuse and is still perfectly fine. Why they can't seem to engineer the AA lights is beyond me, which sucks, because I like the AA lights form factor. The reliability and structural engineering just ISN'T THERE with their AA MagLED's.
Im with you on this! I was always a big fan of surefire until a friend of mine turned my on to Fenix...Surefire is WAY OVER priced for what they are putting out these days. You are just paying for the name.....Kinda like Polo t-shirt's..they are just cotton tshirts like any others but you are paying the extra $40 for the name and i guess the little horsey!!!
Why Fenix TK70 using 10,000mah D battery, on with Turbo mode also have 5-10 sec later kick down power lock issue to below 1400++ Lumen?
Who has the True Prove Video to show us that Fenix TK70 using 10,000mah fully charge D battery does not have this Kick down power issue when on turbo mode for 1-2min.
Who can Dare Prove it? Who!!! Anyone? "Or just want to cover up this TK70 Major Flaws" is True.
Pls resolve this irritating frustrating & make people very Unhappy, Unpresent
just because of this stupid kick down 5 sec power down timer problem for TK-70 in Turbo Mode. Thanks.
You making many people very Tu Lan because of this issue. Letting people though that it's D size Tenergy Premium Problem. In the end, it's Fenix TK70 Stupid 5 sec power down timer problem. Thanks.
Son of the Bitch Fexin TK-70, Design this stupid Kick down power mode which only can last 5 sec only.
Why could this happen for Fenix TK70, Why got such stupid kick down 5 sec power down timer problem for TK-70 in Turbo Mode? Why "2200Lumen" can only hold for 5 sec & then later drop down to 1480Lumen.
From Top1 in list for 5 sec & then later drop down to Below Olight SR-92 standard. Why u want to do that stupid power down mode in 5 sec inside TK-70 & cheat us all? Why!
So what I'm really saying is top saying Surefire needs to increase lumens, when Fenix is not anywhere close to accurate on their lumen specs. The Surefire UB3T Invictus is a true 800 lumens if you'd like an accurate comparison based on real ratings.
Well I never see anyone address the durability of the light. I have a old G2 incandescent that's been through hell and back and still works like new. Neither one of those Fenix lights are anywhere near the lumen rating that they are giving those lights. They're decent lights, but remember you get what you pay for. Surefire is pricey, but their lumen rating is dead on, if not modest, and they're nearly indestructible.
@TheBananamanAssassin not true. surefire super underrates their lumens(bad marketing strategy tbh-makes em look old) and overrates their runtime(equal w/ their lumen rating ratio tho). surefire is pricey and cool (own a few) but i cant seem to understand why they're "better" no doubt they will be more durable in a battle to the death but unless you do that neither will break. fenix is dead on w/ their lumen rating and think of this-which is more durable fenix or maglite?
@jimmyhoffa9 Good point, ALL of the Maglite AA led's I've tried have had HORRIBLE reliability, even the new ones with the Luxeon Rebels. The XL's seem alright, haven't tried them, but the MagLED AA's absolutely SUCK.
im not concerned about lumens. surefire way underrates compared to everybody else and that pretty common knowledge, but their prices are highway robbery. i guess better customer service cost 150-250 dollars extra for a comparable light
You need to check out the new Surefires man, this video is way outdated even though it's just a few months. The new 6PX will dwarf most chinese built lights for only 10 bucks more for a 2xCR123 light. The output is 200 lumens, but 200 SF lumens are like 300 everybody else lumens. I'm not a fanboy, there is a 4sevens quark123^2 on my desk right now but I speak from experience
If its mounted to a rifle, I use surefire, carry then I open up my options. I look at the surefire design and compare it to some of the 4sevens, Fenix, Olight etcs I have and I have more confidence in the surefire. The surefire's are meant to be mounted to a firearms, I have broken others with recoil, specifically, 4sevens and Olight. I agree surefire needs come down in the price and add some circuitry.
@fallout3geek I agree, the 110 lumes from Surefire looks a lot like 230 lumens from other manufacuturers. I have a shed/barn 70 yards from my house and my led 110 lumens Surefire scout lights it up as well as 230 lumens from my 4sevens turbo 123^2 R5. I cant figure out a good method to predict how a light will throw.
The first real flashlight I bought was a SF E2L and I wad honestly hooked. I will never buy a cheaper made Chinese product like Fenix. Once you hold a SureFire, the price is justified
I got turned onto Fenix and love their quality and affordability. Right now I'm using the Fenix TA21 and love it. I think you are right to promote fenix
Attention viewers: remember that I like Surefire. I just feel that they are overpriced! I own over a dozen Surefire flashlights. I will only buy Fenix or 4sevens now. I know of a law enforcement agency that switched from Surefire to Fenix over the price. Fenix is high quality & the bulb assembly is inexpensive to replace years down the road. I clearly stated that I'm comparing old technology vs new.. I like the concept for my viewers. Thank you for your feedback.
I have many Fenix lights and they are the best flashlights out there. I have never seen or ever heard of the TK35 but that is just awesome! Thanks for this video!

Why irritating, frustrating people & make people very Unhappy, Upsad of this Protection 5-10 sec Kick in & Drop Turbo output issue!!!
